Has any franchise been the victim of worse misfortune than the Boston Celtics, post the 1986 Title ?

Maybe half the league? This is the team's 4th trip to the finals in 16 years. Many fans across the country would be envious of this.

But they're not the victims of the type of misfortune the C's have had to overcome.  Careers cut short, players dying, NBA not giving cap relief or compensation picks, etc.

And even ignoring the words, which are positive, his tone and facial expressions make me believe he feels that there?s nothing terribly wrong.

I gave Kristaps Porzingis a call this morning and traded him my right calf.

I have right leg cramps now.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like he's referring to health luck. In which case, yeah, the Cs have had it pretty bad in terms of health since '86. They've had two key players die, for starters.

Yeah, didn't Reggie have like 5 or 6 years left on his contract and the NBA gave to cap relief?

- len bias
- reggie lewis
- KG injury
- Hayward injury

i honestly believe the celtics would have 3-4 more championships without these happening.

KG?s knee that cost them the 2009 title
Perk?s shoulder injury before game 7 in 2010

Hmm, would we have beaten the Cavs without the IT hip injury?

KG's knee cost them 2009. Perk's knee cost them 2010. Shaq and Jermaine's injury cost them 2011. Jeff Green and Chris Wilcox injuries cost them 2012. Kyrie and Hayward injuries cost them 2018. Kemba's injury cost them 2020. Brown's injury cost them 2021.

Yeeeeesh.
