It is interesting looking at all the injuries. NKY lost Randle a while ago. I think Randle's impact to NYK is similar to Porzingis' impact to BOS. Even if Brown is the so called #2, Porzingis is probably a more impactful loss than Brown would be due to how little depth we have in the big rotation. If Brown were out, his minutes would be made up for with Hauser, White, and Holiday. All of them would play more minutes.
With Porzingis out, it is a few more minutes for Horford and a lot more minutes for Kornet. Kornet has held his own, but it is a significant drop off. And you could see how CLE was figuring out how to exploit Kornet as the series progressed.
But MIA not having Butler was huge. CLE didn't have Jarrett Allen but that is less impact than Porzingis. Mitchell going down of course was very big. The Celtics path has been pretty easy so far. That is true. And both IND, to some degree, and NYK are shorthanded too. BOS will be a heavy favorite in either case, no matter when Porzingis can play. But what is BOS supposed to do? You can't expect a sweep every round, just because the other team has injuries.
