Obviously there is zero change in the offensive philosophy of allowing Tatum free reign to shoot those awful step-backs.
The fact that he gets in a groove sometimes and hits a few is fool's gold. A steady diet of that in the playoffs will send us packing.
I cannot stand seeing Tatum (or Brown) out front with the ball in the half-court offense. They hold it too long, they stagnate the offense and too often end up with a turnover or a bad shot. We have two great playmaking guards that should be running the offense 90% of the time.
The fault lies with Tatum and Brown for playing dumb basketball and Mazzulla for not correcting it.
