Looks like there is a minimum number of 3pt shots that the Cs must take every quarter and they try very hard to reach that goal.

Or they consider the 1st quarter as an extension of the pregame warmup.

You just know that after getting great looks at the rim the entire first half of the first quarter, Joe jumped on them at the timeout for not shooting enough threes, because they really upped their three point attempts after that timeout.

Joe: "We score at will from inside, but guys, that's not our team identity. Shoot 3s!" 😁

That last foul should not be a foul. The NBA needs to get rid of it. Tatum moves into a defender who has legal guarding position. If anything it should be an offensive foul, its straight contact hunting.
