Wizards (9-41) at Celtics (39-12) Game #52 2/9/24

Our team is in a funk.  We win by 8-10 when we should be winning by 20-30.  Call me spoiled.

We’re definitely spoiled when we’re not happy with just wins we want beatdowns  unfortunately for us games aren’t played on paper or we would win by 30 every time 

I don’t care how much they win by but I do want to see some focus and killer instinct and respect for the opposition by taking them seriously irrespective of their record. I’m sure it’s tempting to just take it easy when you know the opponent is outmatched; I’m sure we’ve all done it in real life but if they want to be seen as a great team they don’t want to take any days off.

According to the Wizards pre-game show, they are planning to play very small and won't have a traditional center for the game.  They seem to think this will be a problem for KP....To bad Tillman won't be available to play center against these guys.

That's a really interesting stat - our starters are a -5 net rating since January 1st after being by far the best net rating for starters to start the year to January 1st. Crazy. Definitely knew they were worse than the first few months, but not THAT much worse.

I was looking forward to seeing Tillman play. Oh well..
