20 of our first 37 shots have been threes thus far. We've hit 7 of 20 threes and 12 17 from inside the arc.
Those stats don't lie. They are screaming Celtic's deficiencies

KP and Jrue are playing well.  Keep them involved.

Going to be 60 plus points given up in this half. Defense has to tighten up

I'll buy the argument that we're getting a lot of open shots that just aren't falling.  But I really think our defense has been poor tonight.  We're slow closing out, missing rotations, and failing to box out on the glass.  I think Tatum is as guilty of low effort as anybody on our team right now.  He just seems sluggish.

Anyone listen to KP on JJ's Old Man and the Three podcast? Haven't got to it yet, but it's supposed to be pretty good.

Porzingis definitely increases Celtics potency. He has been missed during the recent mini slump

These refs suck.  That's not a foul on Tatum.

Man, these are some really ticky tack whistles that they're giving New York. That's a non-sense foul on Tatum.

we need to play tougher def and extend pressure out a bit more.  Knicks getting into the lane without much resistance at all.  If we let them get easy shots from 8 feet and in all night it isn't good.  Make it hard on their offense.  Our energy level on def looks bad.   I am worried that we aren't really ready to play tonight.  We look like we are going through the motions.

While I hate any loss, the Indy "tournament" game did have the benefit of some rest days, which I might actually prefer to extra games for a meaningless trophy. Please don't tell me the money was worth it. Even end-of-bench players making $1 million per should be set for life.

So, yes, I would have thought with the extra time off, the Celts would be rested and ready to bring some energy tonite.
Who knows with this team ? They are a mental mystery with an ineffectual coach.
