Joes not the best coach in the world obviously but everyone just wanting to solely blame him are laughable to me. The jayson Tatum Celtics have suffered these same types of losses under udoka and stevens. It’s the players.

If this team meets Orlando in the playoffs they're getting bounced. The C's that is. In a 7 game series.

Orlando has size and seems to have our number.

They totally own us but if healthy id like to think that would be different in the playoffs

The fair-weather fans on here blow.  Not even Lakers fans would whine when their team was winning 75% of its games and had the 2nd best record in the league.

The Celtics shot 40% from the field and 24% from 3pt.

The Magic shot 50% from the field and 39% from 3pt.

The Celtics had 31 rebs, Magic had 48.  The Celtics had 17 ast, Magic had 23.

Orlando played better, all around. They deserved to win. There’s a reason the Magic are in second place in the East. They have a good team.

Absolutely they do and I pretty much expected a loss other than for the fact they got swept by the magic last year and the returning players should’ve wanted to wipe the floor with them. Nope.

The two things that were pretty apparent

1. Kornet is predictably awful. Orlando were literally licking their chops whenever he was in the game and just attacked him all game long. He's fine as like a 4th big/garbage time guy but definitely not as the 3rd one behind KP + Horford. It's obvious. For a 7' 2" guy he's super soft and somehow can't outrebound or outhustle other guys either. He also can't generate his own offense so if others' can't facilitate it for him, he truly is just a "walking dead" guy out there.

2. Some of Mazzulla's issues continue to show unfortunately. Team goes on a big run and he doesn't even try to stop it. "Let them keep playing". Joe, do you want to actually win the game?? And when other teams build pressure on us or have certain advantages, Joe struggles to make adjustments. I wouldn't discount a team like Philly adding Nick Nurse. Nurse and Spo are the kind of coaches that can make a small difference in a playoff series and probably outdo Mazzulla as well.

That's because he has stone hands. For the same reason, he can't catch a pass unless it's an alley-oop. He's a 4th big at best.
