White/Brown/Tatum together are 15 for 43.
Pritchard/Hauser/Kornet are 10 for 14.
Conclusion: don't blame the bench.

Correct, blame the coach. He didn’t call a timeout and tell them to play better.
Straw man argument.

I don't know why everybody seems to think the Magic are a bad team this year. They're a good team that matchup well against us and it's a 2:30 pm road game after Thanksgiving. We're missing two starters as well.

Joe sucks, but saying it's all his fault is extreme. How many layups dd Brown miss? How many FTs did they miss?

The Magic have multiple long wings to counter Tatum and Brown. That's why they match up well against us and teams like the Sixers and Bucks don't.

This actually are good, their defense is tough. they need more shooting, if their shooting was good we lose by 30.

16 extra rebounds...

Orlando has built a really good team.  You could even see it last year.  The raw talent and potential on their squad.  Especially Franz Wagner and Banchero.  Very solid players.

Just one of those games.

Down Jrue, lose White for a bit, then KP.

Afternoon road game after a holiday, hot team looking to prove something.

Just hope we didn’t just eliminate ourselves from the tournament. Would have liked to put everyone on notice in the knockout rounds we can show out when it matters.

Jamaal Mosley owns Joe Mazzula.  Owns.

Yeah - outside of the Joe apologists, I think 95% of people take Mosley over Mazzulla right now. He's just not an NBA-level coach at this point and just continues to make the same mistakes over and over.

I love AL but he needs to be upgraded for someone younger. man I got the laptop out for this nonsense.
Got heavy minutes on Wednesday and played very well vs Giannis. This is why Joe needs to give Brissett/Stevens some consistent minutes to find out whether they can contribute. Expecting Al to be good every night at this stage of his career is blue sky thinking.

If this team hits a run of injuries it's going to fall right down the standings.

The Celtics shot 40% from the field and 24% from 3pt.

The Magic shot 50% from the field and 39% from 3pt.

The Celtics had 31 rebs, Magic had 48.  The Celtics had 17 ast, Magic had 23.

Orlando played better, all around. They deserved to win. There’s a reason the Magic are in second place in the East. They have a good team.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Couldn’t even keep the score closer to maximize the chances of still advancing in the tournament either. We’re 2-1 but don’t have a point differential. Unlikely to advance in any tiebreaker now unless we really blow out Chicago.

Embarrassing effort and decision-making all around.

Yeah, their bench is really deep too. Cole Anthony is a really solid backup PG (I've always been monitoring him because he was taken one pick after Nesmith). Isaac is obviously still a great defensive player when healthy. Mo Wagner has been great for them, which is something maybe casual fans don't really know. Then they also have Ingles who is slow and old but obviously brings experience, ballhandling, and shooting. Anthony Black is raw, but he was the sixth overall pick in the draft (I believe it was the Bulls pick from the Vucevic trade, thanks a lot Chicago).

Tatum and Brown can't simply do whatever they want due to the Magic's length and overall defensive depth. Therefore, when Porzingis went out it was pretty much game over. The offense became last year's offense. Even when they got steals, the Magic transition D was good enough to recover or create those awkward missed layups.

Worried about this team's gas tank.  We're not even a quarter of the way through the season yet and we already look like we run out of steam in the second half of games.

Do we need to starting giving guys a few days off here and there?  Playing guys like Brissett or Stevens or Banton, even if they suck?  Because right now, any team that makes us work throughout a game can tire us out before the final buzzer.  A poor Charlotte team took us to OT and beat us like that, Milwaukee almost came back on us like that, and now Orlando blew us out like that.

Maybe I’m alone on this but I’ll be thrilled if the Cs don’t advance in the tournament.  An extra game for what? Unless you’re a player and need the cash… Does nothing for me.

I’ve never seen an opponent take the lead on a 17-0 run against the Celts without the Celts calling a timeout but that’s what makes the Joe Mazz experience so unique.

The tournament thing is unfortunate. I know winning it is ultimately meaningless, but having more high leverage, playoff-type games is valuable for evaluation purposes. Sometimes you watch these regular season games and it's so different from playoff basketball it might as well be meaningless data.

Just look at the game today. We knew Kornet's weaknesses, but we didn't quite see a team relentlessly go at him as much before. Is that a bad sign for the playoffs? Double big didn't seem to work today, does that mean Brissett or Stevens needs to be upgraded? Like some of us posters are always bringing up, it would be nice to have a 4/small ball 5 with more speed, especially with Horford also struggling with fast and athletic teams.
