Also, that 2-minute delay penalty for a failed challenge is pretty harsh!  Trying to think of an NBA equivalent.  Maybe a 3-shot technical?

Bad noncall on the obvious goalie interference—plus, you can't just push a guy from behind, right?

But there's plenty of blame for the Bruins too. They had some good chances to extend their lead, one of them being when DeBrusk successfully went 5-hole, but the puck slid wide of the net. Like, how do you get the puck between the goalie's legs but the shot doesn't go in? SMH

And the Bruins continue to have a hard time just getting the dang puck out of their defensive zone.

The refs have been atrocious. No question about it. But on the flip side, Swayman is a huge reason these games aren't even runaways to begin with. Florida has pretty thoroughly outclassed Boston since Game 1. Boston looks asleep for most of the game which is highlighted by the zone times and shots on goal which massively favor Florida. B's can't clear their own zones. That stuff is on them.

And did people see Sweeney's surprise press conference today? Smh just more signs that this is such a soft organization from the top on down. There are some elite players, sure, but there's a reason the B's choke a ton and only have 1 Cup in the last handful of years despite a lot of regular season success. And even that cup looks flukey when you look at the overall history, Tim Thomas was just a menace that season but we also had tough guys on the roster.

Games like last night are the reason why I stopped going to Bruins games. Blatantly obvious calls missed by the refs on ice and the clowns in Toronto at the headquarters. Toronto came out and said they didn't see the alternate angle of Marchand getting sucker punched by Bennett game 3. Are we serious here?? You got every camera at your disposal but somehow didn't see that angle?

This reminds me of the finals Vs STL when the puck went up into the netting and back down in front of goal and the Blues scored and they refused to reverse the call
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Looks like we're having another game at the TD Garden besides the Celtics.

Bruins bested the Panthers, forcing Game 6.

The Bruins did a nice job in the 3rd despite a ton of pressure from the Panthers. It really is too bad about the Coyle push into Swayman in game 4. We could be talking about closing the Panthers out in game 6 right now.

No matter how it plays out, the Bruins deserve some credit for getting the W and pushing the series back to Boston

Swayman deserves a fat extension this offseason and if he doesn't get it, screw this front office

Florida has been flopping a lot too.  I have never heard Bob Beers so incredulous as he was last night.  He is generally very even so it tells me a lot that he was worked up about the calls.

I think Florida is simply a better team than the Bruins, who have overachieved this year.  But, it really does suck that the series is likely to be decided on bad officiating and a sucker punch.

Yes to all that.

Oh, absolutely.

But it sure would be sweet to come back from 3-1 after they did it to us last year (when we were the better team)

Killer. That's probably the season-ender for the Bruins
