How about trading Niang and two future seconds for Nick Richards? Also saves 3M in payroll

Why are we giving up the best player in the trade and sending picks?

I don't know if Niantic is the best player in any deal.

And Nick Richards is?

At least JB doesn't have beef with Richards. 🤷🏻‍♂️

For those hoping that Tatum will be back at the end of the season, I think Stevens recent quote dashes that hope.

Quote
?We don?t and we won?t,? Stevens said Wednesday night. ?We won?t put a projected timeline on him for a long, long time. ? It?s baby steps right now. He?s actually progressed great, but I don?t know what that means in regard to projected timelines. But that will be in consultation with him ? and everybody else to make sure when he hits the court he is fully ready, and fully healthy. And that will be the priority.?

I don?t think Tatum should come back now that the roster has been gutted. That quote is meaningless, Though.

Quoting Nick from the now locked Ime thread:

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Another center target, sources say, that rival executives expect San Antonio to pursue: Boston's Luke Kornet.
