For the last two weeks Joe seemed to be legitimately leaning on Springer a bit.  I can't imagine they were just showcasing him just to get a team to take him as a salary dump.  If he was getting meaningful minutes and doing OK with them, why trade him?  I know he's not perfect, I don't see the merit in dumping him the coach is using him.  I sure hope they can find someone in the buyout market.

This is the same Q that I was thinking ever since I heard that we dumped him.   Were all the minutes he got lately just to showcase him?

Because they knew they would salary dump him, but wanted to give him opportunity to showcase himself. They knew they wanted Lonnie Walker all along.

Now that Springer is waived, can he brought back on a minimum salary? If so, what would count against the cap?

I find it odd that Ime facilitated the Springer salary dump by Boston. At first I thought that he liked Jaden but they eventually waived him. It seems all?s well between Brad and Ime? Or did Ime have no say in that trade and it was between Brad and Rockets GM Rafael Stone?

Torrey Craig gets roster spot number 14. I am OK with that.

Exactly the kind of player they needed. A veteran wing who can knock down shots but isn't going to be looking for a big role.

Jrue Holiday will once again be out tomorrow with a right shoulder impingement. Everyone else available vs Knicks

I'd just play it safe and shut him down until after the ASB. Only tomorrow night and then just two games next week anyways before it.

I think we still need one more point guard... I hate watching Tatum and Brown bringing the ball up the court.
