Good. A defensive minded grinder which will fit great.

Wonder what else  Brad has up his sleeve

Very nice.  We needed a viable defensive center to help Al out against the more physical forwards/bigs in the league and we got one.  Good pickup.  If he remembers where the basket is on offense, bonus.

The other side of the coin is that his inability to hit a free throw may make him unplayable in the playoffs.  But I still like it.

Joe Mazzulla on Xavier Tillman: “Skilled. Toughness. Well-coached. Obviously we paid a lot of attention to him … I think his extra defensive versatility.” Pointed out his rim protection and pick-and-roll defense, as well. – via Twitter SouichiTerada

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Springer is very bouncy and he might be the best athlete on the Celtics. Has a 41.5” vertical.

Tillman moves better than I thought. He’s pretty quick for someone that’s nearly 250lbs.

Is Tillman our Rob Williams replacement? Obviously not the athlete, but functionally the same.

He sets great picks.  Has nice spin move, better handle than Rob.

Springer's game seems more like TIMELORD than Tillman's.
