Wish Orlando can give Cleveland some fights to prolong their series. They're about to be down 0-2. I did have them in 6 tho.

Lol so did I.

I think for teams like Orlando and Indiana though, I want to see how they do at home. Both teams aren't that experienced in the postseason and clearly had some jitters in Game 1. Maybe in front of their own crowd with some momentum they can do some stuff and force a longer series.

Celtics-Knicks. Boston-New York. That would be such an awesome ECF.

And imagine if Bruins-Rangers face each other in the hockey playoffs at some point too.

I think I’d prefer playing Philly over NYK if one of them makes it to the ECF.  Embiid is big, strong and effective, but he’s also walking his way through much of his time on the court.  If Philly extends their series’, I think the minutes become too much for him. He’ll get points and boards especially in early minutes but he looks pretty spent already.A tired and slow Embiid is still a force but not the quite the force that Philly needs.

Knicks have a bunch of guys who can get hot and steal wins. I’d rather avoid them.

I think Indiana can get hot and win both games at home. Orlando not sure, their offense is just bad. Cleveland will be in every game, looking like that one ends in 5.

This Sixers-Knicks series is going the distance. Lot of intensity, back-and-forth, etc.

Knicks aren't getting their extra possessions on the glass tonight and their lack of offensive firepower is rearing its head as a result.  Sometimes Brunson can bail them out on nights like this, but he's off.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Unfortunately for us, CLE is a good team and they check all the boxes (star power, defense, shooting, experience, etc). I think we should be able to take care of them without too many issues, but they aren’t a pushover by any means.

I guess we were all too hopeful for an Orlando win. Come to find out, that is a pretty big mismatch

True. Teams have come back up from 0-2 and won the series in 6 many times. The Bucks did it in the Finals. Maybe their home crowd can get something going for them.

I think Cleveland wins the series, but it's worth noting that Orlando is a very young team that sucked on the road this season.  Maybe they get a little momentum in front of a friendly crowd where they played much better.

That said, the Suggs injury changes things.  He's a tough SOB but if he's at all compromised, I think they're screwed.
