Orlando getting slaughtered by the Hornets

Indy blowout OKC. Looks like that didn't help the C's in terms of playoff opponents.

Heat also up 64-59 at the half at Houston.

Toronto up 6 at Milwaukee in the 3rd quarter

61-45 halftime Bulls up over the Knicks.

Heads might spin if Milwaukee loses three straight to Washington, Memphis, and Toronto, especially with two of those games at home.

Man, the Bucks are just not a good team right now. They're lucky that the Cavs and Knicks have been so injured, otherwise they'd be out of home court in the first round. The Raptors aren't even trying to win games right now and haven't won in a month lol

Was this in his podcast or an article? I may have to rage listen to it this evening if the Bucks do end up blowing this game to Toronto haha

Goodness. The Bucks are terrible. Three losses to horrible teams

Yeah, The Mismatch.

Got it. TP.

Yeah, he's been awful in his Celtics analysis for awhile now. Very stuck in the past. Overlooks all of the other contenders' weaknesses - particularly Denver and Milwaukee - and overestimates the Celtics' weaknesses, usually based on previous teams' performances.

Even Verno called him out on it a few podcasts ago for having an unreasonable take on the Celtics given how successful they've been, yet even Verno always was taking Milwaukee to come out of the East then, too.  So they've both been awful.

I don’t really see it with this Bucks team. Never have.

If we do meet them in the ECF then that’s a reflection on the rest of the East and the way seedings are set up. But they could definitely be beaten again maybe even the first round if they draw PHI or MIA

I agree they have Giannis and Lillard which is potentially big in close games but people seem to ignore that their bench is bad. Portis is their only real threat. There’s a reason Beverley gets tossed around by teams in the league too, he’s not making a difference for them

But more importantly their defense just blows. Giannis doesn’t even try much on that end probably because he needs to do a lot more in other areas

Well to Verno Philly and Miami are still boogeyman apparently. I just don’t respect the East overall. The West is where all the good playoff matchups will be held.

Man, NYK and Orlando have to be kicking themselves in the butt for not winning winnable games tonight against Chicago and Charlotte, respectively. With Milwaukee on a three game skid and a super difficult remaining schedule (vs Knicks, vs. C's, vs Magic, @ Thunder, and @ Magic), both Orlando and New York (and even Cleveland) are in prime position to move up in the standings.

It's just crazy how big of a gap there is between the C's and the rest of the East right now. Honestly, the 14 game difference doesn't do it justice.
