Heat are beating the Bucks by 16 in the 3rd. Hopefully the can hold on to that lead..

Up 30 now.

Not sure how you can take this Bucks team seriously at this point. With Embiid's injury, I truly think that both of them will be fighting to even have one round of homecourt advantage in the playoffs. I predict that only one of them gets it.

So wait - no Butler, Rozier, or Richardson and at home and Milwaukee is still getting blown out? Man, just another terrible loss. No Middleton and it's a back to back, but that's hardly an excuse, especially with no travel.

Who's even playing for Miami? Bucks just lack something this season. Is it heart? Strategy? Yeah, the gave up a lot on defense by trading Jrue, but that Giannis/Dame pick and roll should be devastating. What's going on with that team?

They're either coasting and wanting to draw Boston in a first round matchup bcuz "it's Boston", or they have some serious team identity issues.

I'm leaning towards the latter. It started with Terry Stotts stepping down in the preseason. Something in the water ain't clean up there in Milwaukee...

They remind me of the 2013 Celtics when we reloaded after the ECF run. Had a ton of talent and SHOULD have been better, but it just never clicked and the team's age started showing.

Feels a lot like what is happenig in Milwaukee. They're not quite as old and unathletic as that Boston team, but they are relatively old and unathletic in the modern NBA, which certainly doesn't help their lackluster defense. There's also clearly some fit and identity issues. It's hard to flip the switch that dramatically from an elite defense/average offense team to an elite offense/poor defense team.

I think both Dame and Giannis are number one options so the fit is off. Dame is also a one way player so you have to set your whole defense to cover for him.

You have to wonder if keeping Bud was the right call and if they still would've fired him if knowing about the Dame possibility. That's a lot of change to go through in one offseason.

That and the Dame fit just feels forced. Ig et the sense that there's some resentment there about his role in the defensive issues, especially after being such an elite defensive team for so many years.

I think this might be the game where Giannis finally wants to demand a trade and be traded to the Lakers or Warriors...he don't wanna put up with this garbage in Milwaukee. He's had enough is probably what going on in his mind right now.

The Dame addition is also bad but he's unhappy with his role.

I said in another thread that they probably would've kept Bud if they knew Dame was coming. He makes more sense for that lineup than Griffin or Doc. Then losing Stotts who has a great relationship with Dame was the death knell. They can course correct, but I don't think it'll be this season. Fortunately for them, Giannis resigned so they have a little more time. Not much though.
