WOW!

Mavericks were down 111-87.

They then went on a 30-0 RUN  :o

Currently up 6

The OKC coach must have forgotten his magic timeout wand at home.  ;)
And OKC still won.

Yeah OKC responded with a 15-3 run to end the game

Mikal Bridges has 42 points on just 12-20 FGA with a huge 15-18 FTA.

You do not expect to see Mikal Bridges get to the FT line like that. Wow. Huge night from him.

Lively went for 20pts 16reb and 7blk.

Let's not forget our old friend Grant.  Last night he played 27 min and shot 1/6 overall with an 0/4 from 3, 1 reb, 1assist and a -7.  For the season he is averaging 28.8 min, 9.8pts, a solid 3.7rebs, and 1.7 assists.  He is shooting 40.6% for 3, but only 42.2% overall, and a pitiful  64.5% for FTs.  I don't miss his game or his mouth one bit.

Anyone know how many timeouts were called during that 30-0 run?

Wilt may have at some point in 68, but he finished 3rd in total points, though did lead in total rebounds and assists.  Westbrook also came close a couple of times (his rebounds were always a bit too low).   Oscar never came close because of Wilt's scoring and rebounding (and a few others).

Amazing. He can really do anything. A fantasy gen who broke the game.
What Jokic has been doing the last four years is historical.
By the way a Celtic (White) is leading in total plus-minus.

He could keep this up through the whole season and still not win MVP because the media are tired of having non-US players dominate the NBA.

Shame. Thought this was going to be Wiggins’s year.

I'm not sure where this idea came from that the American voters hate the foreign players came from. They didn't want to give Jokic 3 straight, not the same thing. They didn't give Giannis, Curry, or Lebron 3 straight when all 3 could have won (and in some cases should have).

My guess is if he keeps this up and Nuggets win 50+ games (which seems likely) he'll win MVP in a landslide because everyone will recognize that he SHOULD have won last year.

I think most of NBA media now recognizes he's the bets player in the league, not really even much argument on it. There's just no argument against him anymore. Bets advanced stats, best raw numbers, great team, won a title.

It boggles my mind how the media only looks at the offensive counting stats.  Luka is amazing....at half the game, and sucks/makes no effort on the other half.  Same with Kyrie.  That is why Dallas will never be a great team.  Jokic plays defense.  Maxey plays little.  Hence why 76ers are bad on opp ppg.  Milwaukee lost the trade from Holiday to Lillard.  Pure lost it.  They are now one of the worst defensive teams.  Defense is much harder to quantify, but the teams that play it are almost always in the game.  I just wish the C's would focus a tad more on moving the ball, making the extra pass, the extra cut, and finish at the rim or kick out to the wide open threes rather than settling for the contested threes(yes I mean you JT and JB). It would up the efficiency, and better utilize that the whole team can shoot the three and all of the team is good/great passers.  Would also make for a little better rebounding when the driver ends up in the lane for the shooters misses.  I would love to see tatum end up 28, 10, and 5or 6 for his stat line.

It is just my pet peeve to see all of these "stars" like luka get accolades over the truly great 2 way players that play both sides of the game.  Who is the games best PG currently, and make sure you factor in both sides of the ball.

Defense is simply not nearly as important to winning as offense is at least right now. Thst isn't to say defense doesn't matter, it does, just not nearly as much as offense does.
