Probably an unpopular opinion but I side with Lebron on this. He did respectfully ask Ime to not use the "B" word and then Ime responded by using it again and acting like a jerk about it. Like someone mentioned above, Ime acted childish in this instance. Yeah Lebron and the Lakers were complaining but what team isn't?? Tbh even the Celtics do sometimes too regarding the refs and such.

I see people online loving the beef, which is fine if you're into that stuff but it's not like Lebron really instigated anything either. It was Udoka.
It was Udoka, but I'm sure plenty of players use the B word every game and I don't recall Lebron making this sort of stink with them. Maybe it just isn't on camera and maybe because it was a coach it is different, but it did seem weird he engaged Udoka at all

Ime is a tool. As far as we know, he fooled around with a girl then acted like a B*tch when she said no. He would still here if he acted like a respectful man, read the room, and stopped harassing her.

Ime has garnered more attention for harassing this woman than anything he has done in college or the pros, as both a player and a coach. He's a literal nothing compared to Lebron James.

I thought Lebron looked far classier than Ime in this instance. Probably because he's a far classier person.

Also, Ime was writing a check that his a$$ couldn't cash. Lebron would absolutely pummel Ime on/off the court. I'd give Ime 52 seconds in an octagon.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

I don't know why you would settle for a contested 19 footer early in the shot clock (Ingram). Drive or move the ball and try for a better shot.

Looks like the undefeated Kings are getting ousted by the Pelicans.

Watch the Lakers somehow win a title again though. Ugh.

No Jordan Hawkins tonight.

Trey Murphy is back and Hawkins is now out of the rotation. So Herb Jones, Trey & Ingram are the three main wings. Then between Dyson Daniels (defensive glue guy) or J Hawkins (shooter) for leftover minutes as fourth wing in the rotation getting whatever scraps are left. That is interesting.

Jordan Hawkins has looked a lot better than I expected he would. I thought he'd have a hard road before establishing himself in the league but he has looked good. Explosive shooter / scorer. More athletic than I thought. Not as vulnernable on D as I feared.

Kind of sad to see him lose playing time.

Kings duo of D Sabonis and D Fox are a strong base but their other three starters are lightweight material. K Murray, H Barnes, Huerter.

Neither K Murray or H Barnes is a real PF. Neither has the physicality defensively or rebounding to mix it up. They are both SFs. Not just SFs but finesse SFs. It leaves Sacramento weak at forward. Doubly problematic when your center is a dodgy defensive player as well. It leaves the whole frontcourt vulnerable.

K Murray hasn't shown much improvement in his 2nd season either. More of the same. Still not convinced he has star talent. Struggled shooting the ball thus far. Only around 50% TS%. Still cannot get to the FT line. Only 1.4 FTAs per game versus 12.4 FGAs. Terrible ratio of FTA:FGA. Similar to last season. 11.5% FTr. League average for a SF is what? 26%? Something like that. Still doesn't do much as a ball-handler or a passer. Pretty much a passenger on offense outside of hitting a perimeter Js. At least he's rebounding better this season.

I agree. I kind of hope they end up in the lottery, as I think that might open the door some for a Brown trade to them with vets (at least Barnes and Huerter) and the lottery pick coming back to Boston (plus another pick and another player).  It is a talent downgrade in the short term for Boston, but I like the fit of Huerter and Barnes and you hope the lottery pick develops into a real talent. Huerter, in particular, would be a great fit next to Tatum.  Solid defender, solid shooter, great assist to turnover ratio, good rebounder, etc.  Talent isn't elite, but does everything you'd want in a guy next to Tatum

82-74 and the second half has only just started.

Another non-show by MIL's defense.

They didn't really play defense last year either though.  They lost to the Heat because they couldn't generate any offense outside of Giannis and because of that, Miami could load up on Giannis and slow him down just enough.  Middleton hasn't been the same since the injury and Jrue fell off big time when he was asked to be the 2nd option. The Bucks got Lillard to get buckets and take pressure off of Giannis offensively.  We will see if it works in the playoffs, but I think they are in fact better positioned to make a deep playoff run with the much more explosive offense.

MIL scored

37pts Q1
38pts Q2
37pts Q3
34pts Q4

Onlsaught. Won by 24.

Through to semis. Does this mean they play Indiana? Are they doing conferences? Or how does that work?

Lol ok. Milwaukee gave up 124 ppg to Miami in that series. Nobody is winning anything with a defense like that.

That sort of proves my point though.  They didn't defend last year and had they kept Jrue it wasn't going to magically get better, but the offense would continue to be worse.  Milwaukee made a move to get better and went the offensive route.  Time will tell if that was the correct path for them.

They will claim it I'm sure...it will be good fodder for people to argue about at the bar  :police:
