This Chiefs team does not look good

And Buffalo might actually win the AFC East. If they win out + Miami loses out (they face Baltimore next week, then Buffalo the final week) it'll happen. And if KC loses 1 more (which seems like they could today), BUF could even be the 2 seed since they have the H2H tiebreaker over KC. Wowzers

And in that case, KC's path is probably Miami in the wild card round, then two road games against Buffalo and Baltimore. I don't see them making the SB if that's the path.

KC's big advantage is the refs.  They get the friendliest whistle in the NFL.  It cracked me up seeing the fan base melt down the one time, ever, they got called for a costly penalty.

Yep, but WOW, refs finally called Kelce for OPI. Thought they were gonna bail out KC a 3rd time on this drive.

They were never making it back to the Superbowl with how putrid this offense is. If they were, they'd look unbeatable like all the other years.

One and done.

Probably. It also depends who their wild card matchup is. If it's the Dolphins, Bills or Texans (w/Stroud), I think they go one-and-done. But if they draw the Colts, Steelers or Bengals (with their backup) I think KC can win one. But I see no shot they make the AFCCG unless something drastically changes and improves for them offensively. It's also pretty clear Mahomes has no trust in his receivers downfield so he doesn't even try because he knows it'll likely get dropped or intercepted

Mahomes don't look nearly as otherwordly with trash offense compared to Brady's days when he had to run with guys like Reche Caldwell, Aaron Dobson, Josh Boyce, Mohammed Sanu etc

Caldwell played 1 season with the Pats and not a single one of those other guys was on the team that season.  And that Caldwell year, Brady was just 61.8% and 220.6 yards a game with 24 TD's and 12 INT's (you know fairly similar stats to Mahomes).  Sanu played half a season for the Pats.  Boyce and Dobson were on a team with Gronk, Edelman, and Amendola (along with super RB pass catcher Vereen).

Lamar probably would have been tackled anyway, but when the umpire trips him, it still stings to have that be a safety.

How are the refs never accountable for this kind of stuff. He practically tripped Lamar on the ground too

But anyways, Ravens look really good. This is a test for the Niners, particularly Purdy. Purdy has not looked good at all today and that's now a 3rd Niners turnover. You still wonder if Purdy can deliver when the pressure ramps up in the postseason. He was pretty meh in the Cowboys playoff game last season but they largely won thanks to Dak being bad + Niners defense being elite that night. Then we know he got hurt and that was it

for some weird reason he was a pretty heavy betting favorite to win the MVP when he isn't even the best or most important offensive player on his own team.  I put a small bet on Lamar to win MVP at like +400 odds before the game. I just had a feeling that Lamar would out play Purdy (even if the Ravens lost, I thought it would be because of McCafferty not Purdy).
