We got the Ravens team today that looks like the best team in the sport so they will probably lose to the Cardinals next week.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Yep, that's the Ravens. SB team one week, then the next looking like a team picking #1 in the Draft

An NFL expert said on the radio the other day that Tua handles pressure poorly, and that he also struggles when his first option is not open.

Which makes sense. The Dolphins run all of these lightning fast plays where Tua is getting rid of the ball almost immediately after it's snapped.

But when those receivers aren't immediately open their offense drags. And their defense is not good enough to pick up the slack.

When they inevitably encounter a high-quality defensive team in the playoffs their season will end.

The Pats "3-safety" gameplan against MIA wasn't terrible when they played them, ultimately they kept MIA to 24 points. The problem though was even besides Hill/Waddle, it felt like Berrios and their other receivers/TEs were just catching quick pass after quick pass and they were going down the field easily almost every drive. Tua barely felt pressure and released the ball quickly.

Really hoping they decide to pressure Tua more, and that Barmore can be a force just like he was yesterday being in Josh Allen's face all game.

For whatever reason it seems Tua doesn't use his legs that often anymore (maybe from the concussions and injuries?) so I wouldn't really worry about his dual threat ability.

It's actually hilarious to think that Josh Allen and the Bills blew out another great squad in Miami 48-20, but they've also now lost to Zach Wilson and Mac Jones

Ravens are so inconsistent.  Sometimes look like the best team in the sport.  Other times look like a Junior High team.  So frustrating to watch.

The clear solution is to fire Harbaugh

Absolutely.
may have to come to that as they are rather undisciplined. Definitely need a new training staff as they always have so many injuries as well.

Harbaugh is one of the more overrated coaches in the league. One Super bowl win during the best month of Joe Flacco's life. Other than that, a lot of disappointment with that loaded defense.
Sure, but how many coaches can win with Joe Flacco and Tyler Huntley.  3 healthy seasons from Lamar in his first 3 seasons, has been the extent of his top 10 QB play.  As you say, Flacco had a month of top 10 play and they won the Superbowl.  I think you may actually be providing support that Harbaugh is not overrated

Ravens had a very loaded smashmouth defense in Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs, Haloti Ngata, Bernard Pollard etc. Their D carried them all the way
Yes and they did well, but a qb decidedly in the middle of the road is hard to win playoff games at a high level with.  Harbaugh's first 5 years which correlate to his only seasons with Lewis and Flacco's 1st 5 seasons, the Ravens were 54 and 26 in the regular season and 9-4 in the playoffs with 1 SB and 2 other AFC title games (they won at least 1 playoff game each season).  The last year is the SB year and the defense which top 3 the first 4 years fell to 12th in points and 17th in yards, but Flacco was amazing so they won it.  The defense was middle of the road during basically the remainder of Flacco's time as he did not live up to the big contract which caused a salary crunch.  Defense has been very good with Lamar, but Lamar has been awful in the playoffs and hurt at the end of the last 2 years. A lot of the inconsistency is Lamar, as is a lot ofnthe record inconsistency.  To win a lot of playoff games, you need elite QB play, and the Ravens haven't had that since Flacco was on a rookie contract.  Now is some of that on Harbaugh, maybe so, especially since Lamar has real talent, but his throwing is not elite either and never will be.

If you don't have consistently great QB play, you aren't going to win a lot of playoff games, but Harbaugh is 150-97 overall with still most of his games being with Joe Flacco at QB.  Sean Payton, with almost entirely Drew Brees in NO was 152-89 as a point of comparison.

Even Ravens fans are willing to bend over backwards to throw shade at their QB while giving their coach a pass. Lamar is good. Harbaugh is overrated.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Lamar has been awful in the playoffs.  Not really any worse than Peyton Manning was his first 3 playoffs so he can obviously turn it around, but you aren't going to win may playoff games when your QB is 55.9% wit 3 TD's and 5 INT's for just 900 yards in 4 games with a RTG of 68.3.

Ravens play the Cardinals on Sunday.  Guard Kevin Zeitler has beaten 31 teams, the only team he has not beaten is the Cardinals.  He would be just the 17th player since 1991 to beat every team if the Ravens do what they are favored to do.

What are your thoughts on Zay Flowers so far? I haven’t watched him, but it seems like he’s been doing pretty well.

He has speed and solid hands.  Route running needs some work, but he appears to have the potential to be a legit #1.  Very strong start to his career.  Ravens finally had all the pass catchers healthy against Detroit and it showed.  Andrews, Likely, and Kolar are a very strong TE group and they finally have a good WR room with Flowers, Bateman, Beckham, Agholor, Duvernay.  If Dobbins didn't go down they'd have arguably the best collection of offensive skill groups in the sport.  Edwards and Hill are fine, but they can't do what Dobbins can.

Ravens have made calls on Henry.  If they do pull that one off, the offense would be so good especially when the line gets back to health.
