To me that's clearly true.  They're a dysfunctional mess.  They had the #1 pick last season, and somehow, they've regressed.

Broncos-Bears could be fun in an NFL bloopers sort of way.

As a Broncos fan, I’m really glad we sent out a first round pick for Sean Payton.  Clearly we just needed better coaching.

Chargers WR Mike Williams torn ACL, out for the season. Another one bites the dust-- to the injury list. Yikes.

Unlike the NBA, I know nothing about how the NFL salary cap works, so I’m just going to assume they can cut him this spring and take a huge cap hit next year and then move on, tanking the season as 30% or whatever of their cap is tied up in dead weight.  What a disappointment from 18 months ago — I’d trade him for Mac Jones in a millisecond.

What is going on on Miami — 70-13!?

If Sean Payton openly thought Hackett was a mess, then what does that make Payton?
It brings me so much joy to see how terrible they are

Do you hate Denver lol?
more Sean Payton and Russel Wilson than the Broncos.

It honestly wouldn't be as bad as I expected. Here's a couple of ways it could possibly go:
Cutting him before June 1st next year: $85 million in 2024 dead cap (~38% of this year's cap)
Cutting him after June 1st: $35.4 million in 2024 dead cap (~16%), $49.6 million in 2025 dead cap (~22%)

The first option might be difficult if there's a lot of other dead cap on the Bronco's cap, but the second one is totally reasonable (it would cost just as much as keeping him)
I'm bitter.

Bears last win was against the New England Patriots in Foxboro. A 33-14 drubbing.

Now that's embarrassing. Roy can feel less lonely on this end. Somehow the Pats find themselves being part of that history with another team.

Mobile QBs tend to be our kryptonite but also, our offense was just extremely inept even against bad teams due to Patricia/Judge. I know the offense this year hasn't produced much yet but so far they've actually played good teams and a few of the best defenses in the entire NFL.

Nate Jackson wrote this piece for defector which is a pretty fun breakdown of Denver's situation at the moment:
https://defector.com/not-all-ass-beatings-are-created-equal
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

Da Bears finally end their 12-game losing streak beating Washington tonight.

Pats may be one step closer to Caleb Williams. Let the tanking continue!

Yikes, Kelce went down with an injury and it doesn't look good. Maybe Achilles (lower leg area)?

Edit: Nvm, he's back (but in pain)

Ravens are so inconsistent.  Sometimes look like the best team in the sport.  Other times look like a Junior High team.  So frustrating to watch.
