Early top 25 games are turning into duds. Closest game is ARK-BAMA and BAMA still leads in double digits there.

I'm feeling an upset tonight, I think Notre Dame beats USC. USC has been really shaky lately and I think they'll finally go down. Their defense is still horrible, even though Lincoln Riley and Caleb Williams lead that electric offense.

Also a bold prediction, I think whoever wins Washington-Oregon today will make the playoffs. The PAC-12 is loaded this year with a bunch of ranked teams, but whoever can come out of it undefeated will probably make the playoffs as a 3 or 4 seed. I think it's one of WAS/ORE, and whoever wins today will beat USC as well and win out. Just feel there'll be a PAC-12 team in the playoffs this winter.
Notre Dame is the betting favorite. They are like -140.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson

I know, but it's still a matchup between #21 ND and #10 USC, and I'm pretty sure most experts are still picking USC in the game

That game finished a little tight.  Washington-Oregon is living up to its all offense billing, however.

Oregon vs. Washington has been very exciting so far. Bo Nix and Penix really helping their NFL Draft stock as well

PENIX IS A BALLER!

If the Pats are out of Williams/Maye range, I'd love to add Michael P(atriots)enix!  :)

So 4th and 3, winning by 4, just over 2 minutes left, just over midfield.  Not sure about the decision to go for it.  Now they ended up with a makeable FG attempt to tie in the end, but it missed and they lost. Wonder how the game ends if they punt there

Not only that, but twice before they had a chance at a chip shot FG and that moron coach decided to go for it and failed both times, and frankly the one right before halftime that play didn't seem to have any chance. That's 6 free points they squandered away and go figure, they lose by 3.

I'll also add that on the final drive, they really didn't seem to play with urgency. First 30 seconds wasted on like 2 plays, and then even when they got to the 25-yard line, they had two "throwaways" when honestly they should have maybe run it inside to pick up some yards and make it easier for their kicker. They had a timeout. A 43-yarder in college isn't as easy. A bit of an odd final drive.

Yikes, already the 3rd INT for Caleb Williams.

His draft stock is falling, go get him Pats!

Agreed, it was terrible click management.  The decision not to kick the FG in the second half was fine, because they got really good field position afterwards which led to a quick touchdown, but on the last play of the first half there was no field position upside.  Fitting they’d lose by 3.

Went to bed and Colorado was winning 29-0.  Woke up to find out they lost.  The Coach Prime honeymoon is over and we won't have to hear about it anymore.  So happy about that.

He threw his team under the bus too.

Quote
“I just said in the locker room to the team is they got to make up their mind. Are they in love with this game? Are they in like with it,” Sanders said of his ask early Saturday morning. “Because when you love something you give to it unconditionally. You give everything you got to it, but when you like it, it’s just the button you push. You like something, like that’s what they do on social media. So we got to figure out, do they love it or do they like it?”

“And it’s hard for me because I love this. I love it,” Sanders said. “And without a shadow of a doubt, I am truly 100% in love with this thing. And I just want people to match me, just match my passion. Match my heart, match my love, match my consistency, just match my mannerisms. Just match every darn thing I give to this game. I love this. Sadly, I love it so much but the game doesn’t even occupy the ability to love you back. That’s a strange love isn’t it?”

Winning on the road in college football is tough.  Also even though they are getting paid now, college athletes are still very much young amateurs.  They generally don't have the level of professionalism to maintain discipline and consistency from week to week.
