What really sums it up is, despite not taking any accountability after his bad drop against the Raiders earlier this season + being terrible anyways, Belichick rewarded this fraudulent bum Devante Parker with a 3 year extension. Maddening.

I'm not even gonna watch the 2nd half of this game. Defense deserves better, but the offense and coaches have all given up anyways. And this product has been BORING for two years now, and it's become pathetic. Gillette was only about 60% filled to begin with today, looks like after halftime it'll drop to below 50% easily. I know the Chiefs/Mahomes come to town later this month, but even that game will probably be only 70% filled with mostly Chiefs fans. Then the final week, maybe as empty as COVID times

It's gonna be home-field advantage for the Chiefs when they visit Foxboro. Kraft ought to be livid for this.

Correction. Robert Kraft is responsible for this. He allowed Belichick to hire family members, hire fired coaches, make poor personal decisions, and draft poorly. This is the culmination of years of making these same poor decisions. Kraft could have ended this year's ago.

Currently hold the #2 pick in the Draft!

I think the #2 is the best they'll do tbh. Carolina is just an even bigger disaster with a horrible ownership group. They can maybe win 1 game the rest of this season, that's it, but would NE hold the tiebreaker even if they finish 2-15?

Things are likely not going to change until people start canceling their season tickets/stop going to games as well as not tuning in on the tele.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Given the popularity of the NFL and the length of that waiting list, that ain't happening any time soon.

Organization is hitting a nadir.  It pretty much happens to everyone.  At some point, they'll climb out of it.  If they bring in a Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels, that's going to get people excited out of hope and still pull in eyeballs.

This is just a personal theory, but I wonder if the biggest factor in Belichick’s downfall is the current core of players refusing to be coached ‘tough’.

I’ve seen multiple accounts where former players stated that Belichick would chew out Brady as much as the fringe rookies. Because Brady accepted that only perfection was acceptable, there was no excuse for the rest of the roster.

Without Brady leading by example, the team has switched off.

The NFL may be popular, but Patriots games are not. Stadium was half full today. Had more to do with the product than the weather, IMO. They also just got flexed out of Monday night football. First time that has ever happened for any team.. I know several STH’s that are basically giving tickets away. It’s just not worth going.

Drafting a QB will add some intrigue, but if they keep losing and end up with a season similar to the Panthers, I doubt people will be interested in attending games.

The weather may have sucked and the team sucks but season ticket holders already paid for it and the game was a paid sellout (64,628).  So I don't think ownership is fretting over anything from an economic standpoint.  Seemed to be more of weather and secondary market issue. If anything, Kraft is probably fuming from the public relations impact more than anything.

There's been a waiting list since 1994.  I don't think that is going away anytime soon despite what is currently being put on display.  I think it'll take a lot more futility than what is going on at the point to really put a dent in things.

Owners still want fans in the seat though. They make a lot of money on things purchased at games.

Sure, but we're also talking about a game that was played under crap conditions.   Low 40s and rain is just about the worst weather you can experience as a fan.  At that point, you'd rather have snow.

Let's see what the crowd looks like 12/17.

I fear for the future of whatever QB prospect we take with this organizations history at surrounding them with talent. Almost all blue chip QB prospects get some kind of elite target. If we didn't put one next to Mac, is that the same plan going forward?

It'll be Chiefs fans booing the Patriots in Foxboro. It'll look like a normal home game that's in Sofi Stadium but in Foxboro
