Give the Wiz a pick swap and the rights to Mader. Worst case, swap 35 for 42.

Is it possible for Porzingis to opt in with the assurance that Boston and Washington will try to get a deal done no matter what?

Yes

It's possible, but if it doesn't work out he loses the security of a long term deal.

I like that it’s quiet…both camps must be trying to thresh things out.

Wow some of you are catastrophic.

Since the Clippers hesitated on the deal, it must mean Brogdon is out for the year, is a terrible contract, etc.?

Ah , come on. Nobody is being catastrophic. We don’t know what’s true. Also, it’s normal die hard fan behavior. Some people love to paint the themselves as cool headed than others.

The Boston Celtics are finalizing a deal to acquire the Washington Wizards’ Kristaps Porzingis, sources tell ESPN. Porzingis is opting into his $36M contract for 2023-2024 and getting his trade to the Celtics

I think if they didn’t believe it could get done, we would’ve known by now. Maybe they are still hammering it out before the “sources” let the news break.

If KP wasn’t opting-in, we’d know. If they push the deadline back, that means they are still negotiating.
