So we get a gimpy Gallo back off a torn ACL and lose Brogdan to a torn elbow. Awesome.

The conflicting reports seem so weird to me. Woj is saying that everyone moved on, but everyone else is saying Boston and Washington are still working to make a deal? Which one is it?

Well, Woj has always been right soooo there's that  :-X

Cs and Wiz still engaged in talks. Trying to do it themselves or find a third team. Wiz don't want Brogdan and his term on his contract.

Didn’t Woj just say that the Wizards and Celtics are still trying to work out a direct deal with no third team?

Wow some of you are catastrophic.

Since the Clippers hesitated on the deal, it must mean Brogdon is out for the year, is a terrible contract, etc.?

Not sure the Clips backed out because of medicals. Think it is more of the contract being 2 years with 45 mil left esp with the new CBA coming up

And CP3 could be a much cheaper option.

Now would be a great time for a team to step up who was feeling like they missed out on Brogdon.

It’s crazy how he went from valuable 6moty on a reasonable contract to worst contract in the league in a matter of seconds, despite absolutely nothing changing about him.

I mean, they knew the deal was for two years when they started negotiating. That wasn’t a surprise. Think the Clippers tried to milk Brogdon’s elbow for extra compensation and Stevens wasn’t having it.

That or they had never actually agreed to the draft compensation being discussed.  Just because Woj said it was pick 30 doesn’t mean, for example, that the Clippers hadn’t asked for a second-rounder back, or that they weren’t also being asked for an additional pick.

Google says torn tendon in elbow takes 3 to 6 months to heal.

So even at 6 months that would have Brogdon returning in early December. So, assuming his info is somewhat accurate, Brogdon shouldn't miss too much time. Maybe camp and the first 10-25 games of the season. He should be available for the majority of the regular season and for the playoffs.

It hasn’t even remotely been reported that it would be that long. He was playing with the [partial] tear in the playoffs. Honestly seems like a missed opportunity for the Clips

Until he gets injured again, as he is wont to do. And it will most likely happen late in the regular season or during the playoffs, so that his postseason availability/effectiveness is shot.

Did the Clippers consult with the Celticsstrong medical team about Brogdon’s injuries/medicals?

Is it possible for Porzingis to opt in with the assurance that Boston and Washington will try to get a deal done no matter what?
