The Grizzlies are sending 2023 and 2024 first-round picks to the Celtics, sources tell ESPN. Grizzlies are sending No. 25 on Thursday night and 2024 pick via Golden State for Smart.

The Warriors pick is only top 4 protected.  That’s an interesting acquisition, but ouch.

I do hope Brogdon stays. He was very valuable to us last season.

That Golden State pick could be pretty decent. A mid first rounder. They still got a lot of problems to deal with and they do not seem to have the balls to confront them (Klay, Poole).

I went from not really liking this, to absolutely hating it.

We traded a def player of the year, and a 6th man of the year for Porzingis?
if that is what happened Brad needs to be fired.

Probably more coming back I guess.  Why get rid of Smart, when you trade Malcolm though?
J's are pretty close to smart, I thought Smart would probably be here at least a couple more years.

Well, to be fair, he was stinkin' up the joint last season and didn't look like a DPOY. I got pretty tired of Smart chucking up 3's, so ready to see him move on.

we got 2 first round picks

That doesn't help us now!!!!!  We are just in the start of the JT/JB prime.  We need other good players who are ready NOW!

Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.. and i dont care about language filters. i loved smart. i will miss him so much.

but that is one heck of a haul in draft picks. but this cant be the end of brad's trades.
