Feels like all of Brad's roster plans hinge on getting KP and moving Brogdan.

I am sure he has a plan B but not sure you can go back to the same roster as last year at this point.

John Collins is Plan C. Paul George is the other plan since the Clippers wanna move him. There's also that rumor of LeBron feeling frustrate with AD3 and wants to move on from him...as in shopping AD3.

The Celtics didn’t want to wait any deeper into Wednesday night on completion of the proposed three-way trade and pivoted away from including the Clippers in the deal, sources tell ESPN. Wizards and Celtics are working on revised scenarios now.

How much work is there?  It seems like everybody knows what's on the table.
Wizards don't want Brogdon.  The work is finding someone that does.

Wiz don't seem to want a team. They could easily move Brogdan at the trade deadline if needed.

I was surprised Porzingis was even considering opting in after the season he had. He was healthy and productive. Time to cash and get that long term money.

Made more sense after hearing they were talking contract extension with PBS. I'd only opt in with a good contract extension if I were in Porzingis' shoes. As injury prone as he is, he could lose $30-40 million over 3-4 years on his next deal if he has an injury hit year next season. Not worth the risk. Gotta have that contract extension.

If you are Brogdon, do you even want to play for the C's this year if they are sure you are their best trade asset?  Maybe a vet like Malcolm doesn't take it personally.  Hard not to.

Or compensating to the Wizards to take on Brogdon’s deal.

This is why I think he’ll be gone one way or another.

Well if Brogdon was so easily movable you'd think they'd be able to find a deal now to do so. He might not have positive value.

Nope. He was rumored to the Atlanta/Suns before the Beal deal now he is rumored to be traded again.

My fear is he is hurt and will miss the season leaving the Celtics without his services and also unable to be traded

So Brogdon had a torn tendon in his elbow.

Does anyone know how long they take to heal?

If Brogdon's injury is way worse than let on by the C's to the public, yes that would suck to lose him for next season and still be paying for him.
But it sucks for him as well.  He gave us some really great stability to the 2nd unit, I hate to see him go.

did they ever say it was 'torn'  I remember reading 'partial tear'  but maybe that is basically the same thing?

Several months. It's bizarre how Joe still played him in game 7

If Brogdon's injury is worse than expected then no matter where he goes he won't pas the physical and it will be voided. That sucks and I hate to let Gallo go before we could use him here.

The conflicting reports seem so weird to me. Woj is saying that everyone moved on, but everyone else is saying Boston and Washington are still working to make a deal? Which one is it?

We essentially stuck with another Gallo in Brogdon. I hate paying for players who are just out for the whole year due to injury. It stinks. Unfortunate for the player, and unfortunate for the GM.
