Wish KPJ, Bridges & the other scum of the earth we see in the league would actually be banished, rather than slapped on the wrist.

He can't. They traded him to SAS this year, so unless he goes somewhere else first he can't go back to Phoenix
I'm bitter.

His agent should orchestrate something where he signs a non-guaranteed contract with a franchise, gets waived, then signs back in Phoenix, haha.

I thought he was a solid back up PG but he seems to have really fallen out of favor.  I think if PHO still wanted him, they wouldn't have traded him for a 2nd round pick and cash.  SAN had to cut some players but must have felt that he had no trade value.  His salary was $6.5M, so too much for the Celtics TPE.

Would you rather have Payne than Banton?  Banton may be a prospect with ceiling, but not certain he will ever be anything and he certainly won't help the team anytime soon.  I am not sure if there is some issue with Payne but he seems like the type of player some team would find useful on a min contract.

Even after waiving Payne, SAS still have 17 players with guaranteed contracts.  They have 2 more they need to move.  I wonder if they would consider trading Vassell for some reasonable draft picks.  He is a good player but will be a RFA after this season.  He is at $5.9M so fits our TPE.  I guess he is similar in role to Svi (but obviously better) so maybe less need to have both.

Look for the Spurs to release other expirings they took for draft compensation.  Those three are Birch, Osman, and Bullock, while Devontae Graham is partially guaranteed next year.  Likely 2 of those first 3 will be cut, with an outside chance of Graham instead.

NEW YORK (AP) — Houston Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr.'s alleged attack on his girlfriend in a New York City hotel room left the woman with a fractured neck vertebra and a deep cut above her right eye, prosecutors revealed at his arraignment Tuesday.

Porter, 23, is charged with felony assault and strangulation in connection with the incident early Monday at the Millennium Hilton near the United Nations in Manhattan. Prosecutors said he didn't stop until his girlfriend, former WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick, ran out into the hallway covered in blood.

Lock him up (I naively said).

I think this is possible, but more likely he just doesn’t find another contract.

Miles Bridges did the same kind of heinous act.  Chocked his wife until she passed out, broke her nose and gave her a concussion and that dud get's to play this year and they counted his time missed last year as his suspension.  NBA obviously doesn't care and it's a shame because this guy should not be playing either.

Fractured neck vertebra... awful! What a scumbag.

I always thought he was not worth the trouble, but did not anticipate him being actually evil

Looks like nerlens noel was waived by the kings. I guess I would take a flier compared to kornet but think he is clearly not a good player at this place joining saric, zhaire Williams, markelle fultz, okafor and simmons in a mind blowing list of busts.
