In what's expected to be a continuing push for a trade, Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden isn't attending the team's media day Monday.

Harden wants a trade to the LA Clippers, but although the two teams have talked recently, there's been no traction on a deal, sources told ESPN.

The Sixers' asking price remains high, and the Clippers don't seem inclined to bid against themselves in a marketplace that is cool to unloading significant trade assets for Harden, sources said.

I know he's our rival but I can't help but love Jimmy.  The guy is hilarious.

They have Jimmy and Bam. I am sorry but I am still scared of them. lol even with our close to all star team. Plus they have coach Spo. I doubt they make it that far.

They weren't very good last season, either, but they still made the Finals.

I'd be more worried about Philly than Miami, IMO.

Ricky Rubio remains away from the Cleveland Cavaliers as they open camp while the Spanish guard continues focusing on his mental health.

Rubio said he was stepping away from the game this summer, when he was scheduled to play for Spain in the FIBA World Cup. There is no timetable for his return.

Just a little help with popular culture - I thought I had an idea of what ‘emo’ means but I’m not sure Butler’s hair style matches with my definition. Please explain what full emo means and the connection to the hair. Thanks!

Don't worry. Harden will be taking care of Philly for us

Ujiri on not initiating extension talks with Siakam: "A lot of players didn't play the right way. I said it, that we were selfish, I'm not running away from that. We were selfish and we didn't play the right way. So let us see it when we play the right way."

Ouch. The criticisms of Toronto's selfishness and lack of passing remind me of when Ujiri first arrived in Toronto and was put off by DeRozan & Lowry. Their iso play. Their inability to improve team passing.

And rightly so. It was deserved then and it is deserved now. TOR have lost their way (in large part due to Ujiri's roster constructions). Siakam and S Barnes are "his turn, my turn" ball-handling forwards. Fred VanVleet struggled last year. They had no other quality guard play in terms of ball-handling and passin to help VanVleet. That had subpar three point shooting to provide spacing so teams were able to load up on ball-handlers. They had a lack of passing from the center position. All issues with team construction aka Ujiri's responsibility.

I wonder how Siakam will take all of this. Why does he have to pay the price for failures elsewhere in the team and failures from the GM (Ujiri) level?

In the late 90s/early 00s, along with punk rock, I was a fan of what was called [second wave] emo at the time. Bands like Saves the Day, Get Up Kids, New Found Glory, etc fit this realm. But then in the mid-00s, bands like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, etc kind-of took over the genre and those other bands more became more known as melodic hardcore or easy-core.

Emo hair is far more prevalent among white people than black people, which is what makes what Jimmy did even more funny. Jimmy Heat World (parody of the band Jimmy Eat World) is my favorite name I've heard so far. Here is a pic of mid-00s Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance for reference:
