Per source, the Celtics traded No. 39 for a future second-round pick.

Does this mean I can go to sleep now?

Could have gotten Walsh a camp invite.

Dude can’t shoot at all

He’s just a grinder which I guess they are looking for. He’s a poor man’s grant Williams

Really like the Walsh pick. 6'6 w/o shoes, 8'11 standing reach, 7'2 wingspan, only 19 years old, one of better athletes in the draft. Its an upside pick. Exactly the kind of guy you should be after in their position.

When they had 35 I would have been happy with Walsh.

Per source, Jordan Walsh is headed to the Celtics and Mouhamed Gueye is not.

Good to hear. I didn't know who Gueye was but Jordan Walsh is going to be a real player for this team.
He seems like he can be a very good defender, but he seems like a complete zero on offense.

Not quite sure.  Someone said we got 45 also from Memphis for Smart, but they didn’t share their source and I haven’t seen anyone else say that.

Walsh has potential, confidence and drive.  I like his makeup.

That said, we passed on real talent to restock the cupboard of second rounders.  Maybe we can use those to dump salary, or trade for guys the coach doesn't play.

I know nothing about Gueye so I won’t comment there.

Walsh is a hell of an athlete and plays hard, but I’m not sure what he actually does.

Defender...

So we got a guy who the Celtics genuinely liked in Walsh who we probably would have taken with our original 35 pick.

And then we got 4 future 2nd rounders. I liked the idea of 2 1sts (in addition to KP) for Smart, but I can deal with replenishing our future stash of 2nd rounders and hoping for the best from that GSW pick.

I’d have preferred Rupert, but they’re in the same mold.

I don’t think we do, but even if we did, Brad would trade it anyway. Good night all.
