Love it. They mentioned on The Ringer that Jordan Walsh had a great workout in Boston.

Great pick, I think he's going to really stick on this team.

TJD & Rupert, I am praying for you to be Celtics

I'd be okay with that.

Here’s what these draft threads do to me: Until about 30 mins ago, I’d never heard of Rupert. Now, I’m dying for them to draft him and don’t even know if that’s his first or last name.

Made me laugh out loud. TP

Per source, Jordan Walsh is headed to the Celtics and Mouhamed Gueye is not.

At least I’ve heard of Walsh.  I recognize him too.

Man. Gueye and Walsh? That is a thoroughly rubbish pair of choices with all the talent still available. Far out, what terrible choices! Pretty livid with our continued ineptitude in the second round, going back years.

I'm not going to bash these guys - they worked their entire lives for this moment - but I wouldn't be heartbroken if we traded them for future 2nds. I would have liked us to choose at least one guy the thread was excited about.

Edit: sounds like Gueye is not coming to Boston and Walsh had a great workout. That makes more sense.

Ok, only 1 disappointing pick then. Not exactly a win, but relative improvement

I know nothing about Gueye so I won’t comment there.

Walsh is a hell of an athlete and plays hard, but I’m not sure what he actually does.

Per source, the Celtics traded No. 39 for a future second-round pick.

Well we got two NBA athletes. Can't say I know much anything else about those two

Good to hear. I didn't know who Gueye was but Jordan Walsh is going to be a real player for this team.

One more trade down - or out.

Worst day of my sport fan life, even worst than when my soccer team felt in 6 division after bankruptcy. Also because today this soccer team (Strasbourg) was sold to Boehly to become probably a Chelsea satellite ( I want to vomit).

Basically we traded our heart and soul, one of the all time celtic who was the more in love with our town and franchise and the best switching defensive point gard of history (with flukes even in defense I know), with a friendly deal (something Brown will never do, giving a little discount because he loves us) for .... A bunch of seconds and a 'very late first (don't dream next year Warriors will be in PO) + Porzingis who never succeed in a good team, is half time injured and  for one year deal ??? And now full confidence on Mazzula who is arrogant on the mic and made horrible Playoffs and Brown who showed that he isn't at all attached to our team. I always defended Stevens but now he succeed on giving me the wish to support the Grizz and Smart next year, and hurt my love for the green franchise.

I know it is a buisness, but selling Smart for a pick you don't know what to do because you couldn't trade Brogdon ... It is bad business. Basically why didn't he took a Mem 1st in 2 or 3 years for now if he didn't prepare correctly this draft ????
