Clearly, the whole Grant situation is really what has everything in a holding pattern. It doesn't seem like we have decided whether we will let Grant go or not. If you know Grant is leaving and are not intent on keeping him, then you use the MLE and let your intentions be known. but if you keep Grant then you can't use the MLE. So i'm not convinced they even know what they want to do here.
I think after Grant signs an offer sheet from someone we will get clarity on what the celtics plan to do next. My guess is the celtics move quickly after that.
I do think Brad could've made some better vet min signings than the scrubs we got. Milwaukee is an example of a team I thought made some good signings to round out their bench. and we only got some guy who will end up in Maine and another guy who knows if he will ever see the court.
But i'm a little confused here. After the Miami loss, the idea of running it back was considered a horrible idea on this board and that this team proved they cannot win... now Brad retooling the roster instead or running it back for KP is botching the offseason?
we havent lost Grant or Brogdon yet...and still may not lose either...
