He became a much better shooter than anyone expected. But the free throws continue to be bad, and as you said he turns it over every time. He takes hero ball 3s at the worst time. I just don't want him. I'd trade him for Anthony Davis in a heartbeat even though AD is much older. Or JB for Karl Towns... JB for Karl Towns... I will take a day to be an Uber driver but the kind where they drive the fancy black SUV, and even drive him to Logan. i got you JB.

We'd be trading one choker for another. If Brown makes you mad, Towns would drive you insane, he's probably the softest player in the league.

Agreed. Like JB, Towns is super talented, but a low IQ player as well.

Is he low IQ or just lazy.  I’m not sure, but I thought it was the latter.   I wonder if he’d perform better as a #2 on a contender.

He fouled out 2 of the 5 postseason games he played in this year. Also, had 5 fouls in game 4. I still might make that Swap for JB, though. C’s need a replacement for Horford and JT can play the 3.

Agreed. I’ll take Town for Brown if there is no other option.

Same. KAT has worn out his welcome to a bunch of fans there. Both organizations might benefit actually from the swap. Minny gets a named player and legit star. Boston gets a #2 with a better fit with Tatum (better shooter, better inside game)

Both JB and KAT are flawed tho.

He's a genius off the court though
Too bad that doesn’t count

Im not so sure about that, TBH. He regularly puts his foot in his mouth. Seems like Brown thinks he’s smarter than he actually is.

He does have this opinion of himself as some sort of intellectual.
Why else would some kid from Atlanta go all the way across the country to play his college ball at Cal-Berkley ?
He embarrasses himself when he massacres the English language trying to sound sophisticated.

Wasn't there another player from Atlanta that did the same and changed his name some years back? I get the feeling Brown is more caught up in off court stuff which is a lot easier making a ridiculous amount of money compared to the real world. he is going to en dup being a problem if he isnt already beyond his play. I really hope they make a trade.

I'd be interested in KAT for Brown, but how does Brown fit next to Anthony Edwards? I haven't watched much of Minny this season so I have no idea what his game really looks like. Would JB be a good fit next to him or would they just be duplicating his skillset?

agreed, both are flawed but i wonder if kat’s flawed game works better with JT’s game? JB as a much lesser version of JT clearly isn’t working.

Also, KAT and Gobert do not fit, so it would make sense for both sides.

Smart, White, Tatum, Towns, Timelord as starters. Horford, Brogdon, Grant off the bench… I could live with that.

Minnesota with Connely, Edwards, Brown, McDaniels, Gobert. Not bad either.

Yeah both those lineups seem better than they’re currently constructed. Rare win-win for both teams imo

I'm so tired of seeing him dribble into two or three guys and lose the handle. Heck, he loses the ball often enough when he dribbles at just one guy. Not sure he'll ever be able to dribble well.

Brown cares more about his brand and his ego than improving his shaky handle. The pathetic chip on his shoulder is tiring.

Good teams know when to sell high. Goodbye Jaylen. That your mom slammed her door in my kids face on Halloween night is not the least of reasons I can’t wait to see you pound Sand in Orlando.

I think so, too. KAT already signed his max extension, so now JB needs to do the same.

Yes, he is.  I know that because he’s always telling everyone.
This made me chuckle.

I too would trade Brown for KAT

KAT is known for being less than a hard-core competitor. Wasn't that part of Jimmy Butler's problem with him ?

We need to add tough minded guys, not more soft temperaments.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Players are not finished products at 23, as KAT was when Butler left. He seems to compete harder than many of his teammates

With the way Brown ended the season in a thud  and the super max salary that he demands, it would be very hard to trade for a tough minded all star caliber player.

KAT is not 100% ideal, but I'm willing to let him occupy the center position and let White/Brogdon replace Brown. We also still have 3 young guards/PGs from the previous drafts trying to prove their worth in the  NBA.

I think KAT, in a new environment in Boston, will surprise lots of people.

I’m not going to bother arguing any points other then you penciling in Brogdon as still on this team

Get that bum away from my basketball team.
