Tatum gutted it out with bad sprained ankle, how could anyone want to get rid of him? He is the only one I wouldnt consider jettisoning.

Tatum and Timelord.

Everyone else I trust Brad to get value for. This team is not it.

Losing Game 5 against ATL, Game 1 and 5 against PHI, and Game 1, 2, AND 7 against MIA is utterly ridiculous.

Get Joe a proper staff. Don’t make him the scapegoat. It’s the roster.

PS- gotta call out the crowd tonight. Folded before the C’s did. Weak AF.

Blaming the crowd ? Gimmie a break, they saw the writing in the wall. This isn’t the first time this team no showed, I woulda folded 2, disgusting effort by the Celtics

I’d respect it if they fought hard but lost a close battle, but this team basically no-showed tonight. Unfortunate Tatum got hurt but there was still another 47 minutes after and Jaylen was AWFUL. Brogdon was also awful when he played and it gave Miami real momentum.
Yeah, an awful way to lose. The way they lost makes the loss much worse.

Sad

Yeah , I had a bad feeling we were going to lose this game with Tatums ankle injury.  Might been over and that was the game. He was our best shot , with Brogdon hurt too, too much to overcome.

And the fact Brown was playing so poorly , after all he talked about needing to play smart , not turnover the ball etc ….he did all the bonehead crap again.  He was supposed to step up and do his STAR part take over as Tatum was hurting.  But no ….he shrunk from the moment .

Can’t win without our stars putting up 20-25 pts each important game.  They just didn’t get it done .

Joe still needs to go…like really bad folks ..he can’t fix the team or motivate worth a dang. He is clueless. His offense philosophy of threes is killing the team. They need someone with Udoka s experience.  He knowledge and slow feel for the game are REALLY bad …..this team can’t wait 5 years for him to grow up.

Can't blame Mazzulla for this game. Tatum got hurt and Brown has been putrid

Somehow it’s Joe’s fault we missed our first 12 three’s

The fact that we're completely reliant on hitting so many threes to win is absolutely on Joe and the entire point of his criticism.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Can't blame Mazzulla for this game. Tatum got hurt and Brown has been putrid

I mean, sitting Tatum for half the first and letting them gain momentum that carried them the rest of the game is absolutely on Mazzulla. Also, employing a shallow offensive philosophy that requires us to hit inordinate amounts of threes is also on Mazzulla, or even the consistent drop coverage despite its futility all series long.

Unclear whether we would've won this regardless with the Tatum ankle sprain let alone JB's complete choke job, but Mazzulla certainly played his role.

Even the announcers were wondering why we were sitting Tatum in the first. We were doing okay with him in there, even though we weren't scoring. But once he came out, Miami blew up and we stayed super-cold. That absolutely was a defining moment in this game (along with the Tatum ankle sprain of course).

Not to mention burying guys on the bench who could have stepped up and contributed when Tatum got hurt. That's what a bench is for! Are you telling me that Hauser couldn't have hit 3s like Strus?

Can’t wait to hear the postgame stuff. It’ll definitely be spicy now that they are eliminated

They'll give their normal weaselly passive-aggressive non-answers.
Won’t watch. Don’t need no excuses.  Happy Summer.

Why is Horford taking floaters in the lane like he is a 6-1 PG?

You are a 6-9 250lb giant. Act like it ... heck, just once in a while would be enough. Remind everyone you a skilled physically powerful big man.

He's a massive choker and makes horrible decisions in big games. He's made a career out of it. Time to show him the door.

TIME FOR HIM TO GO ALSO

SUPPORTED THIS TEAM FOR DECADES SINCE I WAS A KID

THIS COACH BLOWS AND NEEDS TO GO WITH ROWN

I WILL NOT SUPPORT THIS UNQUALIFIED TRASH

We will be back next year, and will be better. This team is still young. They have to go through some major battles and tough losses to get there. We forget because they've done so much in the playoffs since entering the league, but most stars don't get their first ring until they reach 27-29 years old. Tatum is 25, Brown 26. These are the experiences that will get them there.

Most embarrassing Celtics team since I started  watching in 85. how many times did they no show in games this year and quit? Should we be surprised they pulled this again? I'm washing my hands of this team. I should not let this get to me like it does. I have to go work my ass off tomorrow to make ends meet while these heartless players are multi millionaires and will get over this performance with no issues.

Jaylen finished with 8 turnovers. He had 19pts on 8-23 FG and 2-2 FT. Only two FTs off of 23 FGs? And 8 turnovers? So only 2 FTs off of 31 possessions (32 including the FTs)?

19 points added on 32 possessions used.
