And butler just said the heat will win game 7. Big talker
Says this after every L this series

Lol. Poor Butler, but what is he supposed to say?  Anything other than that and you appear not up to the task.

Robinson missing both of those 3s being wide open…man what a choke job

Dude hasn’t been shooting up to par since he got that massive contract.

He was pretty much out of the rotation at times this season. It's a wonder he's made any shots.

i could not watch this and i am glad i did not. i would have passed away given the stress.

white's put back may enter the sports history of boston. if they win the championship it will be akin to robert's stolen base.

this team is going to kill me. but i am happy right now.  ;D

just looked at the box score. wow! tatum, brown, an horford go 0 for 14 from 3. but the celtics win the game.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

It felt like he was trying to convince himself and his team. I don’t think he actually can believe that.

after rewatching the final play a few times, the ATO was a mess. no pick for tatum and he had to break away from the basket to have a chance at receiving the inbound pass, which would have been a horrible, rushed 30’ shot. joe’s play effectively took our best player completely out of the play.

it seems the play might have been drawn up for brown, who stood still at the FT line until marcus ran around him, and then JB posted up bam at the FT line with his back to the basket (not JB’s strength). with only three seconds remaining, not sure how JB gets a good look from this position.

marcus seemed to be the third option but he had to come to the inbounder to get the ball, which forced a rushed turnaround three pointer. also not his strength.

overall, a really bad ATO that took the best player out of the play, but didn’t get the other options favorable looks. fortunately, dwhite’s high BBIQ and hustle bailed us out. joe must get better at this.

Yeah this is true. I did the same and I didn’t know what we were trying to do. Spo was right in his postgame, they had the bases covered. Meanwhile, Joe’s postgame was weird. Something to the effect of “get our guys a couple of dribbles to make the shot”. Not sure what that means but it was weird that there was no emphasis on getting anyone open. Just inbound it, couple of dribbles, and then shoot it.

that last miracle put back was not akin to a 50 yard hail mary to get a TD as time expired

it was more like the return game between cal and stanford back in early 80s

5 laterals on a kickoff return for a TD as time expired

It’s obvious Miami can’t beat Boston unless Boston helps them with turnovers, fouls, missed free throws, stagnant offense and not shooting well from three.

Keep the turnovers under 10, shoot better from 3 and continue playing the same defense they will be fine.

Let butler play hero. He’s not the guy who is going to beat them. It’s the other guys

I don’t recall ever seeing a team still alive more demoralized than the Heat postgame. Even Spo didn’t have much to say. I know 45 hours is a lot of time to find some confidence, but they look defeated.

So now that I’ve taken a moment, except for the last shot, the last 4 minutes were pretty awful. If Robinson hits either of those wide open 3’s, the season is over. Why do they have to make it so hard? You can’t milk the clock with 4 minutes to go. Jeez, learn that already

You are correct.  They are significantly flawed.  Just trying to enjoy despite the end of game nonsense.

pizzes me off to no end all these douboe digit leads blown.

keep playing fast pace and drive to hoop. we were in bonus what are we thinking? taking contested jays? stupid

They had the Heat dead in the water, up 10 with the ball and 4:10 to go, and they slowed the offense to a crawl to kill clock which almost cost them the season.

We shot better from the FT line and generated more fouls. Not the issue

Jimmy double dribbled then got bailed out in that same right corner that Ray Allen hit that ridiculous shot against the Spurs

Thank God for D. White
