So, chuck isnt necessarily wrong. Jimmy/Bam wont be as bad (although they have been average the last 3 games minus the ref show the last 4 minutes) and the celtics did nearly choke it....which is concerning. I do think the ref's had a play in it however. I mean Jimmy would just run into players and get a foul call but Boston played scared refusing to go to the hoop.

But he said he wanted to see how the celtics played if their shot wasnt falling and game 6 was Miami's game 7. and not only did Miami lose it, but it was in such a devastating way mentally for them. Now hes changing his take?

But on the other end, Miami shot 47% from 3 and boston shot 20% and Tatum/Brown were 0-12. I doubt that is going to happen in game 7 at home.

Our defense has throttled the Heat for 3 straight games now. That's no fluke. The only reason they were in this game was them hitting tons of 3's, us missing tons of 3's and making some exceptionally dumb decisions (even by Celtic standards).

We have dominated the paint. The Heat have no answer. Our guys are bigger, stronger, faster. It's not rocket science.

That was literally the worst 3 point percentage of the entire season for the c's. They lost the 3 point battle by 7, the TO battle by 7, and Tatum vanishing for most of the second half. So ya, Bam and Butler will be better but I doubt all those things happen thing.

Agreed. Our role players will hit some 3's back at home. If we play defense we have an excellent shot at winning.

after rewatching the final play a few times, the ATO was a mess. no pick for tatum and he had to break away from the basket to have a chance at receiving the inbound pass, which would have been a horrible, rushed 30’ shot. joe’s play effectively took our best player completely out of the play.

it seems the play might have been drawn up for brown, who stood still at the FT line until marcus ran around him, and then JB posted up bam at the FT line with his back to the basket (not JB’s strength). with only three seconds remaining, not sure how JB gets a good look from this position.

marcus seemed to be the third option but he had to come to the inbounder to get the ball, which forced a rushed turnaround three pointer. also not his strength.

overall, a really bad ATO that took the best player out of the play, but didn’t get the other options favorable looks. fortunately, dwhite’s high BBIQ and hustle bailed us out. joe must get better at this.

Robinson missing both of those 3s being wide open…man what a choke job

Thank god for that. We finally caught a break on those 3's

C's played 24 playoff games last year, 12 at home.

Game 7 will be the 20th playoff game this year, 11th at home.

A insane two year run of stress for c's fans. Nice extra gate revenue for c's ownership tho.

So now that I’ve taken a moment, except for the last shot, the last 4 minutes were pretty awful. If Robinson hits either of those wide open 3’s, the season is over. Why do they have to make it so hard? You can’t milk the clock with 4 minutes to go. Jeez, learn that already

You are correct.  They are significantly flawed.  Just trying to enjoy despite the end of game nonsense.

It’d be nice if Monday is finally the night their role players, notably Martin, stop acting like Curry out there shooting

So annoying

please god

I was cursing every time Martin or Vincent hit a shot. It is flat-out weird how automatic they are.

They had the Heat dead in the water, up 10 with the ball and 4:10 to go, and they slowed the offense to a crawl to kill clock which almost cost them the season.

Idk, I just have to feel that the Celtics will get it done at home. we lost the turnover battle, shot 20% from 3, Tatum/Brown were a combined 0-12 from 3. and We tend to play well in home game 7's against both Milwaukee last year and Philly this year. Miami was a nail-biter in the end, but the difference is that one was on the road.

I mean we have been playing extremely tough defense last 3 games on Miami and have owned the paint. Thats something that hopefully shouldn't change.

Plus, losing a game the way Miami did can sometimes be devastating for a team....and sometimes can give momentum to another team.

Don’t see Boston losing a game 7 at home.

Them shooting this poorly from 3 and surviving is kind of a blessing in disguise.

Won’t be that bad again.

Any chance the Heat dust off Tyler Herro for Monday?
