Would it surprise anyone if the C's won the next two AT Miami, but then lost Game 5 at home lol

This team is capable of anything (and not in a good way)

I love seeing a team rewarded for playing the right way. Miami does that and the C’s rely simply on talent to do anything. A sweep here might actually do the franchise some good. Nobody is going to give you a free pass to a championship. You earn it like Miami are currently doing!

Agreed. Lotta respect for how Miami is playing.

I still don't think they have much talent.

WHO CARES. THAT MAKES US LOOK EVEN WORSE. WE ARE GETTING KILLED BY A BUM TEAM

CLEAN HOUSE WE WASTED ENOIUGH YEARS WITH THESE DUMB PLAYUERS GET JB THE HELLL OUTTA HERE.

Most of the US is now rooting for Butler to win his first ring, and you can't even blame them.

I will be rooting for Butler (if they win).  He deserves it.

Heat will lose in 5 in the finals if and when they get there

Love how Joe moved away from running game through Tatum in the 4th- brilliant

He didn't actively move away from it. The better coached team adjusted and took it away. Joe is just futile at trying to counter the adjustment, per usual.

This is where your 2nd option should come into play. The opposition forces the ball out of your main guy's hands (strong side of ball), it swings to the weakside where your 2nd guy should get it and he should be the guy to make the play.

I mentioned this long ago about Shaq and Kobe. Teams would force it away from Shaq. Then Kobe had to take over. He had to be the playmaker. Not just the shot-maker but the playmaker. He had to be able to do both. That is why someone like Rashard Lewis (a shot maker but not a playmaker) was never a legit #2 for Dwight Howard in Orlando.

That is also why Jaylen often struggles as a #2 because he cannot be relied upon to be a playmaker. He is only a scorer. He is more like Rashard Lewis than he is Kobe Bryant.

If I'm not mistaken, Jaylen Brown made 2nd team All NBA. Do you know why Miami can double team Tatum, it's because Jaylen becomes a ghost when it's crunch time. I swear, there are times that I don't realize he's on the court.

BTW, if Erik Spoelstra was coaching this team, Miami would still be up 2-0.

Gotta disagree with this take. Spo would be up 2-0 with this team. Insane amount of talent on the roster

Mazzulla in response to question about not doubling Butler, " We gave up two offensive rebounds and let Robinson get two open 3's and that was more important." He looked beaten. Maybe he will just resign.

The reporters need to take off the gloves with him.  Too much indirect criticism, and he just brushes it away with a canned response

Trash talking is not working for this team.

Horford did it late in Game 4 against PHI when they went up 5. Game went to OT and they lost.

Horford did it again in Game 1 this series with the "timeout gesture" too when up 62-49, they blew it 2nd half

And tonight, G-Will exchanges words with Butler, and the C's choke late. 20-7 run Miami after that.

I mean I love the emotion and fire, but it certainly looks bad if they can't back it up. Not entirely their faults either, others have needed to step up and they haven't.

You need to know who to do it to. It certainly fired up Buckets, he started cooking GWill every possession. GWill kept up for a while but he was like a turnstile against Buckets. God knows why they didn’t put Tatum or Brown on him, though they would have switched him to GWill in any case. Buckets was determined to school GWill

If we don't win the series, I hope it's a sweep. I want Joe humiliated into resigning

Yeah, even I think that would be pretty beautiful. Jimmy deserves a ring. I love how he plays. I would also love to see MIA win after the way LeBron left them. Kept going, kept grinding, found their way back.

Still, I'd prefer Jokic to win even more so I'll be rooting for DEN over MIA if MIA do indeed beat BOS. But Jimmy getting a ring would be  nice consolation if Jokic loses.

Trash talking didn't do anything to sway this game. What swayed it was Joe not doubling Jimmy.....like a moron.

As long as it's not the Lakers, I'm happy either way.
