Lo and behold, our star is out of rhythm

Kind of happens when you freeze him out and stop going to him after a masterful first half. Another coaching failure that he can't even recognize. Already getting coached circles around.

Ya I'm sorry can we not do this? Tatum just dropped 51 points like 4 days ago, now we have to pretend he's so mentally weak that him not getting the for a couple minutes caused hium to turn it over 3 times in like 60 seconds?

Nope. He made some mistakes. His fault, not the coaches.

I don't get playing Pritch, he can't guard those guys.   Some of Joe's choices are mystifying.   Going inside was working, so we stop it.

And sticking with him so long too.

  • GOT IT!!!
C’s came up small late. They had chances to get the lead and turn the crowd up.

Bam 20pts 8reb 5ast 9-13 FG

Miami had 4 other guys go for 15pts - Lowry, C Martin, G Vincent, and Strus. 60pts between them to help Bam (20pts) & Jimmy (34pts). That is 114 of their 123pts.

This team is so much poorer than it should be. It would be an easy title if we had even a moderately competent, average coach. Instead, we have perhaps the worst coach in the league.

Thanks Brad!

It is so hard being a fan of this team sometimes.

The same issues game after game , year after year.

IT IS EXHAUSTING
LET'S GO CELTICS!

The Celtics play with panic way too much of the time. The Heat do not. The Heat aren't even a good team. I mean that literally. They are a .500 level team based on talent. But they don't lose their heads, they find the seams in the defense, they make shots. Because they don't panic. They are like dispassionate robots, and the Celtics are like frightened children.
Third quarter when things were starting to slip away this was apparent .

It's too bad, but the Celtics suck. We've seen the lack of maturity all year and we shouldn't be surprised what we're seeing now. We're barely a .500 team in close games and 0-3 in the playoffs so far (and this one won't even count). It's a shame, but it is what it is at this point. Why make it easy for yourself when you can let an inferior team take you to 7 games? Hell, maybe we'll get swept.

Welp, there goes home-court advantage to the #8 seed. Good news is, game 1's don't win the series.

Bad news is, Miami is undefeated at home this postseason.

Celtics are good on the road however. 2 of those Miami home wins were against the Knicks. And another against the giannis less bucks.

I think they went 2-0 in Miami against the Bucks and 3-0 at home with the Knicks. I wish all Celtics playoff games were just road games at this point

Oh man 3 straight turnovers by Tatum.

Joe should have called a timeout and told him to stop turning the ball over.

It's hilarious that you even still try to defend him as objectively awful as Joe has been lol

It was the coaches fault that he didn't play an acceptable amount. The coach sucks
