JB says they came in too cool. If so they’ve run out if mulligans, Miami isn’t going to let you off the hook like Philly did.

So basically what they did in the previous two series. Not take games (in this case Game 1) seriously. This is a recurring issue with this team, they're running true to form which is why I'm not even upset because it's happened before, you can't be surprised by it. They will probably come back with a bang in Games 2 and 3 and probably thrash the Heat, then drop Game 4 and maybe Game 5, then because it's backs to the wall actually play desperate in Games 6 and 7. Hopefully

Until an injury happens, or you know, you get too overconfident and start turning the ball over like crazy and just end up losing the series like in the Finals last year.

Yes, they will. Miami does not have the talent to keep pace. If the Celtics play to their potential they have no chance

Eeerily similar to Game 1 last year's ECF

C's had a 13 point lead at one point both games, but MIA had a MASSIVE 3rd quarter and won it from that

Hopefully the script follows though and we blow them out Game 2 lol. Have a feeling we'll get Foster "the extender"

Inconsistency is obviously something that will always follow this team...

Looks like I'm the only one who picked a Miami sweep. On track for this one, unfortunately.

Crazy, right? If you've bet money on the Heat, you'd probably be a millionaire by now.

How do we think the rest of this series goes?

I feel like we'll split at Miami, win Game 5 at home, then lose the series in Game 6 on the road.

I'd like to think though that we win the next two on the road, and make it a real series again. But that seems super unlikely. I'd be stunned if we got swept though, but if we did then I really don't see how you can just roll back with the same roster next season. Don't care if it's the ECF, can't get swept.

Time for Boston to win 4 in a row :P

In seriousness, I think either way this series goes will be very telling. If it continues this way and we lose in 4-5 (swept would be brutal), I imagine it will lead to some serious shakeups. And if it doesn't, then heads should roll. A big upset loss to a much less talented group should lead to some forensic examining of the coaching situation we are in (is lack of coaching more appropriate?). It should bring forth questions over the roster construction, and the seeming disconnect between management and coach - why did we extend Kornet & Hauser? Why did we acquire Muscala? And so on. Why did our management and ownership do crap all to put this team in a position to go that one step further and win it all?

If we do turn this around and win it (somehow), it will be a mighty testament to the fortitude of this group - an attribute many are quite suspect from them. I do not have faith in that, but we shall see.

This team has done nothing but disappoint me this playoff run. Do not see that changing now.

I am not surprised that Miami is going to win the series. I am surprised at how they are going to win it.

Vincent, Robinson, Martin, Lowry and Strus have outplayed Brown, White Brogdan, Grant, Al. Boston has gotten very little from key players.

Jimmy did what I expected. Bam always plays well vs the Celtics. It is the role players that have just been much better for Miami.

Doesn't help that Tatum and Brown have been inconsistent and Brown has been one of the Cs worst players this series.
