I'll lead with the good: Robert Williams—finally! Though I don't know why it took Joe so long. Yeah, the matchup with Embiid is bad, but Rob can (obviously) still contribute plenty, and he did. I know he missed a couple defensive assignments, but most Celtics players made multiple bad plays tonight, so in that respect he's in good company. I also must give credit to the Cs for staying poised in crunch time, because that's something they've really struggled with. And I tip my hat to Brogdon and Smart for some much-needed good shooting and solid overall play.
But let's not get too high just yet. They won, and that's great, but they had more than their fair share of bad play in this one, particularly the 17 turnovers, and they haven't done a good job of defending their home court this postseason. It's one game for all the marbles, and anything can happen, so let's just hope they bring the focus and energy from the start in Game 7.
