I don't believe Tucker didn't know Tatum was there. Sorry. I think he got away with one.

It’s crazy that people think it was an accident. Nothing about that was a natural motion. He saw Tatum make the pass past him to the right as Tatum went past his left, he then flung his arm around with clear intention to whack Tatum. Maybe not where it landed, but he meant to catch him.

Ridiculous that it wasn’t reviewed, for whatever reason they want to blame it on.
Who says anything about a natural motion and what does that mean anyway?  Tucker swung his arm in frustration.  He didn’t know Tatum we there and for anyone to say otherwise is to call him a completely dirty player who intentionally punched JT in the nuts because I guess, he’s evil.

Let’s try to be at least somewhat borderline objective sometimes.
I don't buy that. Watch the clip again. Tucker is watching Tatum come down the court, measuring him as they get closer to the basket. Tatum doesn't come out of nowhere, Tucker knows exactly where he is when he turns to follow the pass. And then when he swings his arm backwards and hits Tatum he doesn't look to see what his hand just hit, I believe, because he already knew he hit Tatum.

That doesn't make Tucker evil but Tucker is definitely a guy who lets his emotions get the better of him pretty often and acts out.

He absolutely knew Tatum was coming down the lane---I fully expected Tatum to get two FTs and the ball back...cost us at least 2 points maybe 5 points....but they came out of commercial and the 76ers were inbounding the the ball...I was like what the hell???
Seen the clip many times and all I can say is that we live in two different realities.

That clip starts after Tatum has passed the ball. Go watch the entire play. Tatum isn't just in Tucker's field of vision, Tatum has the ball and Tucker is watching Tatum, preparing for Tatum to drive. When Tatum passes the ball Tucker turns to follow that pass. Are you saying that Tucker instantaneously forgot that Tatum existed?

I give it a 1% chance that PJ was swinging for nuts.

I’d say high likelihood that PJ swung his arm instinctively, knowing Tatum was charging to the hoop in order to impeded Tatum even if slightly.  No ill intent but worthy of a foul call imo. Theis would have been called.
This is my thought as well. Tucker wasn't aiming for Tatum's nuts, he was looking to give Tatum a little reminder that he was there. It's the kind of little bump physical players do away from the ball all the time.

I forget when I did this (it was years ago) but I had thought I’d seen a pass by nut punch on a screen play, so I went and watched it in slow motion and sure enough there it was. On just an ordinary.  I think it was IT giving the nut punch.

There’s so much dirty stuff that happens that we don’t see in real time or it’s happening away from the focus of the camera.
