This right here just shows the disadvantage we are up against in the coaching department - against Thibs, no less, who doesn't exactly have the best reputation right now. We got baited into using up all of our fouls for no reason just for Thibs to take out Robinson when we were in the bonus. Just not a serious coach.

He waited until 3 seconds left to call a timeout in Game 1, then today doesn't call one. Just incompetence. And also, the ATOs and play designs are putrid. Mazzulla is getting mega-exposed. He needs to be on the hot seat.

The first foul was dumb, but I guess there was a purpose. It put the Celtics at 3 fouls and the Knicks were about to put OG in. Then Thibs figured out we would foul again, so he pretended to sit OG, and we did, in fact foul again. Then he just made the substitution he was going to make anyway. The incompetence of Joe in that one situation was mindblowing

I?d be ok with elevating Sam as head coach if we don?t make the finals. A lot of teams are gonna go after him this off season. As for Joe, i really don?t know. That hack a robinson ploy really ticked me off. I mean he was a plus 19 but we were still up. That was defensive , ?playing not to lose? basketball.

If they lose this series, it's going to be very interesting to see how the organization handles this. I'm not sure Wyc is a huge fan of Joe's and now you have a new owner who may have his own ideas. Joe to date has been outcoached badly by Thibs.
