Boston has a big lineup problem.  Boston simply can't defend Jokic.

The entire league has a Jokic problem. He’s the best player in the NBA

Can't believe Ainge picked James Young ahead of him  >:(

Agreed.

But then why are we going double big against them? That just takes away being able to exploit Jokic on the other end, because Al just isn't the same type of offensive threat as others are. KP was cooking Jokic off the PnR all first quarter, yet we went double big to stop Jokic, and ended up not stopping him and also taking away that advantage.

Just stay smaller and make Jokic guard farther out on the perimeter on the high PnR.

So Joe is getting pink slipped in the morning for his incompetence?

And Kristaps is smiling and laughing in his post game interview...how dare he be smiling when the rest of us are feeling so bad after this loss?? Ship him out too! >:(

Better be. I mean, Joe allowed Murray to score as many points as Tatum and Brown did combined! He should have called a timeout and put a stop to that. Ridiculous!

In seriousness, why are KP and White smiling and joking around in their pressers? Shouldn't they be mad like us  >:(

There was a lot of quiet on Joe a few weeks ago. Some praise as well. Why was that?  I don’t like the loss but it was a 2-point loss to the champs and Cs first loss in 21 home games.  I haven’t liked the three reliance all year (or in previous years).  But this team is good and they play well together and it is absolutely not looking like last year’s team.  Oh, and they have the best record in the NBA.

Did this loss not feel exactly like the playoffs last year.
We are going to be dared to shoot 3's I can't see how it ends differently.

Look how confused these guys look in key possessions..that's coaching and having 0 clue how to utilize his talent.

It was one of 10 disappointing losses this year. Denver’s had 14.
The Cs have finished games this year in ways they didn’t last year (by last year I mean the second half of the year and playoffs). Yes, I see them lose close ones and I see unsuccessful end of game possession ( BTW, some better FT shooting at the end of games by Jrue (twice) and JB tonight and maybe they have 7?losses).  I also see them push back teams who’ve made  comebacks this year, extend leads, and make comebacks of their own. And all the while win more games than anyone else - apparently with a tougher schedule than most. They have a tough stretch upcoming -no easy game in Houston - followed by a brutal schedule till the Lakers on 2/1. I don’t like to jinx, but I’ll say I’ve  got faith in a good outcome based on the first 42 games.  As for Joe, the only in-game coaching I’m able to witness, since I don’t hear what he’s saying or see what he’s doing for 99% of the game - he seems to be overseeing a team that likes playing together. And as for the coaching that happens outside our view… who know?  But I do wish he’d de-emphasize the three a bit and capitalize on the team’s crazy offensive talent. But hard to complain too much when the team is 20-1 at home and has the best record in the league.

Had virtually the same exact record last year at this time, yet choked and didn’t get it done in the playoffs, which is where his deficiencies are really highlighted and this awful offensive philosophy is exposed.

But we're fans...short for fanatics. We will only be happy with no losses and double digit wins. We don't want single digit wins either, those feel too much like losses

Ok - when they choke the 2nd half of the year we’ll be in agreement. They haven’t yet.

TP for the positivity NG. We need more of that here. As much as I’m disappointed with this loss, i still think we’re having a pretty good season. Am looking forward to see how these guys bounce back in the next game.

It's not the loss, it's how they lost. 3's don't fall against a team like Denver and we fold. It was the same exact problem last year. Joe's lineup sucked too.

We are yet again going to have to hope and pray we shoot great from 3 for 4/7 games in a series.

We.are not the GSW no matter how bad Joe wants us to be.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

I've noticed in a lot of our losses, we've lost to primarily teams above .600 and upper .500 (such as Indy twice and Orlando). If this is the team who should be dominating the league, they need to play more complete and beat these .600 teams. Otherwise, the Celtics would look like the Dallas Cowboys of basketball...play extraordinarily in the regular season but fold like a lawn chair in the playoffs.

Lost at OKC, lost to Minny earlier and nearly blew it at the Garden, dropped a game at Philly, lost to Nuggets, lost to Indy and of course get disemboweled by the Bucks.
