Man, hell of a Tatum game:

30 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 stl, 2 blocks with 0 TOs and 11-20 shooting and big shots down the stretch.

See what a little bit of effort on defense does! Smart finally playing 90 ft of man defense on Trae and denying him the ball was a game changer. The defense down the stretch was superb and just goes to show that they have been playing lazy D if they can just flip the switch like that.

And Trae Young is a beast, those who chanted overrated in the garden game 1 should be ashamed of themselves lol

I tip my hat to Atlanta.  I'm nervous about our defense, but our guys came through.

I really like that bigger lineup with Smart, Jaylen, Tatum, G Will and Horford. A 5 out offense with size.

The GWill stuff this series is so questionable. Joe gets so dogmatic about his beliefs that he'll not play him for most of the series, but he was excellent in both games that he played.

Don't understand what he was seeing there.

Agreed. G Will is so important to our defensive integrity. He is that extra big forward (in girth if not height) that gives us physicality in the frontcourt. Team gets a lot smaller without him in the rotation.

Honestly I thought Snyder should have kept Bogdonovich on the floor for the entire 4th quarter.  ATL was playing much better with him on the court.  He's a negative defender, but he's a handful offensively.

That last Smart FG going to hoop where he faked pass to corner to draw defender out was pure spectacular! So excited for this team and our chances!
