if this team would play like they did the final 2.5 minutes, they’d be unstoppable. more of this, please.

Amen!

I tip my hat to Atlanta.  I'm nervous about our defense, but our guys came through.
They've got a decent coach now and they can actually build from their playoff performance. Trae Young shut a lot of critics up in this series.
not so sure. his offense and defense were as expected. great shooting, then he completely let's smart drive to the basket at the end of a close game. he did not even try to stop smart.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I wouldn’t be surprised is the Hawks under Snyder win 50+ games next season. They could’ve beat any other team.

They’ve had a good roster with depth since 2020 and didn’t put it together under Drew and McMillan (aside from the second half of that 20-21 season).

Congrats to the team! Putting away a tough team on the road. On to the second round.

I really like that bigger lineup with Smart, Jaylen, Tatum, G Will and Horford. A 5 out offense with size.

The GWill stuff this series is so questionable. Joe gets so dogmatic about his beliefs that he'll not play him for most of the series, but he was excellent in both games that he played.

Don't understand what he was seeing there.

Of all of the problems I had with Mazzulla in this series, I can't blame him for not trusting GWill.  He was ineffective for most of the second half of the season.  It's not like this was a random benching of a quality player.  Grant earned it.

Hopefully he's rested and ready for some Embiid though, because we'll need him a lot in the next series.

Tough game for White...can't be perfect all the time.

I remember when Vinnie Johnson left the Pistons in 1992, Chuck Daly said it put so much more pressure on Joe D and Isiah because before they only needed 2 out of 3 of their guards to play well to have a chance to win each night whereas now Joe D and Zeke had to play well every night for DET to have a shot at a W.

It doesn't matter so much that D White has a bad game. He has Brogdon and Smart there to pickup the slack. And vice versa for those other guys. If Smart plays badly, White and Brogdon pickup the slack. If Brogdon plays badly, Smart and White pickup the slack.

We get 2 out of 3 playing well and we're in business.
