Assuming the result holds, this is going to be a brutal postseason for Cleveland. Having HCA but still losing the first round in 5

According to @DenverSportsCom
, Anthony Edwards has been cited for third-degree assault for allegedly striking two women with a folding chair

Per Colorado law third-degree assault carries the punishment of up to 18 months in Jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000

Anthony Edwards could face legal action, per @DenverSportsCom

“A law enforcement source said Edwards picked up a chair & swung it, striking a security guard…A source confirmed the incident and said both employees were injured & asked to file charges.”

“We are aware of the alleged incident regarding Anthony Edwards following Game 5 in Denver and are in the process of gathering more information. We have no further comment at this moment.”

Maybe there is more to this story, there often is.  But at face value…

Oh jeez, Edwards man!!!  What a lack of brain cells and decision making.

If true probably a 20 game suspension minimum

Yeah raises the question of whether it was a bad matchup or they need to fundamentally change their team. Although it is concerning how bad mitchell has performed this postseason

Tough matchup.

Fundamentally change the team? I would do that. By that, I mean I wouldn't change the core of their team -- J Allen, Mobley, D Mitchell, Garland. I am keeping those guys.

However, everything else is on the table.

This series showed the glowing hole CLE has at SF. They need to pursue a 3+D role player to round out their starting unit. They also need to reconsider their bench. Their bench has been a massive liability in this series along with their SF position.

So, in summary, I do not see the core of their team as the problem but I do believe this series showed how much of problem their bench and the SF position was for them. They need major reconstruction on this area of their team. The core I keep together.

This is why I think it’s a bad idea to have two small guards as your best players. Cavs are getting exposed in the playoffs.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Yeah, have to be pretty disappointed if you’re Cleveland. Massive failure to essentially get gentleman’s swept in the first round as a higher seed.

Didn’t watch much of this series. Is this just a bad matchup for Cleveland or what?

Mitchell Robinson has 11 offensive rebounds. 17 total rebounds. He has killed Cleveland.

Wow, that was essentially a tie game in MEM vs LAL when I checked the score with 4mins left in the Q3 while I watched the end of the Cavs and Knicks.

Somehow in that last 4mins the score went from tied to an 18 point Memphis lead.

That is one heck of a run.

Lack of playoff experience (post-LeBron era)

Hm, what are the Grizzlies doing right that sparked an 18-2 run?

22 point lead now. MEM has it.

Memphis could still come back in this series. This is two tightly matched teams. I favour LAL over MEM but not by that much. Not like the MIA vs MIL series where MIL is vastly more talented than MIA ... this series is close.
