Its the same issues the Celtics exposed. Heat are a POOR 3 point shooting team and a low scoring team all year yet are torching Milwaukee. Their guards cant stop anyone and they cant defend the 3 ball. Its why the Celtics demolished them by 40 and took them to OT with our bench. Sure Milwaukee got the #1 seed. but they pretty much lost against good teams all year.

I dont see this utmost confidence I see all over the web that "this is still milwaukee's series" winning 3 in a row is really hard. I understand Jimmy was unstoppable, but what is more likely? JImmy has another huge game in one of the next 3. Or Brook lopez gets 36 again?

The only good news is one of the lakers or the warriors won’t be making it past the next round.

Bucks aren't nearly as good as everyone outside this board wanted to say they were. They had a long win streak vs bad teams. The should have lost to Boston's B team. Got drilled by 40 plus to Boston's A team.

Middleton is not nearly the player he was. Their bench is not good. IF they survive this, they lose to Boston in 5 or 6.

As much as I hate the Lakers, where’s Dillon Brooks and all his trash since he called Lebron James? At least Draymond Green talks to the press and faces the music after a bad game.

I'm trying to convince myself using this same logic.  But, the counterpoint is "yes, Lopez got 36, but Jrue and Middleton only combined for 28", combined with recognition that Giannis was merely great, rather than peak MVP-level.

If Jimmy "only" goes for 35 - 40 in each of the next three games, will Miami have enough firepower?  They were a very bad offensive team, and they're down Herro and Oladipo.  Who will step up?

The Bucks went 31-17 against .500 and above teams.  The Celts went 33-15.  So pretty comparable against good teams.

Wish we drafted Bane instead of trading away that pick on a salary dump to get rid of useless Kanter   ::)

So we keep the pick, draft Bane and he develops into an All Star level wing.
Would Tatum, Brown and Bane co-exist and play together or would minutes and ego problems develop ?

We could have Bane and Clarke instead of Memphis.
Being truthful, that is a terrible job by Danny in the draft.
We have those two guys and make it work, we are a juggernaut and a young juggernaut at that.
I remember campaigning for Clarke before we passed on him ..... for who did we take instead ?
I don't think there would have been a problem with all three playing together.  Certainly not from Bane's end.  He's a very complimentary player on a very good contract.  Bane's development may have been stunted a bit.  He'd be an excellent #2 to Tatum if Brown does decided to leave.

I think the bucks are done- it might still go to game 7, This heat team is inspiring injuries they are still getting after it. Unreal performance by Jimmy.

If it goes 7, Milwaukee will win.  Miami has to win in 5 or 6.

D Bane = 23.3ppg 3.0apg 5.3rpg 41% FG% 29% 3PT%

A Reaves = 17.8ppg 4.0apg 4.5rpg 49% FG% 41% 3PT%

A Reaves has done a fantastic job in the series. On the basis of those shooting numbers, I'd say he has outplayed Bane through 4 games.

The Lakers are up 3-1 and Davis has had two awful games in the series and they are up 3-1 because of guys like Reaves and Hachimura more than covering the load for AD in his bad games.  Even Lebron has been only great, not all time great and yet the Lakers are putting a beating on the 2 seed.  We are seeing this series why the Lakers had so much hype entering the playoffs.  They are just a different team since the trade deadline moves and with AD and Lebron actually playing together.  And Russell has just been bad.  If he ever gets going the Lakers are going to be very hard to beat.

...and they would have lost with a healthy Memphis

Kind of crazy that there's a real chance the 1 seed in the East and 2 seed in the West could go down in the first round. But that also shows you how sort of wide open the field is. The C's really have no excuses not to make the Finals barring, god forbid, multiple catastrophic injuries. But if MIL loses, then the path is ATL, PHI, then MIA/NY. That was probably the best case scenario going in. And it would effectively mean we are the 1 seed (home court all throughout)

Source confirms Joel Embiid has a sprained LCL. He may have to wear a brace for the knee when he returns. There is some hope that he can play towards the beginning of the Sixers second round series but he will be playing through a knee injury

Eh… it was a weird year…the heat and lakers are both considerably better/experienced then their regular season record this year…the heat were the #1 seed last year with the same roster. It’s not like 2 young/average 7 and 8 seeds are doing this
