Devin Booker 47pts on 19-27 FG along with 10 assists and 8 rebounds. 2 more steals for him tonight as well for good measure.

Devin Booker is the #1 SG in the NBA.

I was just getting ready to post Booker's stats for this game.  What a game by Devin!  Wow.  He seems to have taken the collapse of the Suns last year really personally.  I wish that is how we would have responded tonight.  (But I guess JB did have 35...)  Tatum not settling, laying down 30 on the Hawks with JB's 35 would have ended it tonight.

Saw a tweet about most playoff wins in NBA History (C's are 62 behind Lakers for most and 153 ahead of Sixers in 3rd).  Lebron has more playoff wins than all but 8 franchises and the Bulls, Pistons, and Knicks are all relatively close to his 177 at 187, 189, and 190.  The other teams are the Spurs in 4th and Warriors in 5th.

Strange Clippers content on Twitter claiming dysfunction between the front office & the head coach. Between Kawhi & the team over his injuries. Between Kawhi & role players who play hurt. Between role players & the coach over not getting enough playing time.

https://twitter.com/clipperscontent

Saw this on the RealGM forums originally.

Stuff about Reggie Jackson being difficult. Marcus Morris pouting about whether he starts or not. T Mann being unhappy with his role.

Front office failures in free agency and in the trade market. Letting Hartenstein leave for the Knicks in the summer but not replacing their backup center until the trade deadline leaving them without a backup center for the first 60% of the season. Lot of problems in pursuing a PG in the trade market with Conley, VanVleet and Lowry although that seems to have worked out well with Westbrook in the end. Problems with John Wall.

Problems with the coach in playing favourites. With playing too many 3-4 guards lineups. Not trusting their bigger wings / forwards enough.

I do not know how legit this info is but it is interesting.

They should move on from Kawhi.  He isn't reliable.  Get whatever you can and just move on.

I don't know, but I would hazard that this is more likely than not. A lot of it tracks.

Jrue Holiday career playoffs with the Bucks has a TS% of only 49% in 39 career games. I knew his scoring efficiency in the playoffs was bad but that is terrible.

For comparison, even Smart is at 52.2% TS% in 93 playoff games. So Jrue is far less efficient with his scoring than Smart is.

Khris Middleton is at 55.6% TS% over 73 games.

There are a few win or go-home games tonight. I do hope the Grizzlies win.

Miami and Knicks need to win to get started on the ECSF.

As for the Battle of Norcal, as much as I loved that Kings legendary run to the 3rd seed...Warriors needa win if they are to stop the Lakers from advancing.

Would be cool to see the grizzlies and kings win tonight for the stories. I’m not sure how much heart that grizzlies team has tho. Unable to even face the media.

Maybe there is more to this story, there often is.  But at face value…

Oh jeez, Edwards man!!!  What a lack of brain cells and decision making.

Wow. He’s my favorite non celtic mainly because he’s such a throwback player and rarely misses games. I hope he doesn’t go down the Ja Morant path.

Lebron looking very different tonight than the 20-20 effort in overtime. 2-8 and 5 turnovers in first half. Wondering if he really can not get worn down over the course of a long playoff run at his age as spectacular as he is sometimes.
