If the Knicks win it's a fluke.  Their offense is almost all iso and it's not a sustainable way to win games.  I'm not impressed.

Was that not a foul at the end because time ran out?

Looked like a foul to me.

They haven’t stopped Tatum going to the rack since he checked back in.  Why settle for that J?

I mean it’s a decent shot, but he’s been getting layups and free throws.

Okay - that's a completely defensible decision to not call the timeout there by Joe. Tatum was cooking and scorching hot, and he got an excellent shot. That's a perfectly fine decsiion in that situation that a timeout wouldn't have helped in.

It's still frustrating that we only decide to play and actually attack the basket the last few minutes of the game. This is the problem with the philosophy that prioritizes so many three point jumpshots. You get lazy, and you'll go through spells where you can't hit anything. At least going to the hole more it's a higher percentage and you can draw contact to get to the line.

Why for the love of god can’t we call a timeout and get a play called instead of just iso-ing at the end of games?  I don’t get it.

Eh, I'm okay with it in that decision. Tied game with Tatum cooking and getting a good midrange look? I'll take that.

Exactly! Tatum just showed that he can get to the rim at will, and we have several other guys that can, too. Why we settle for jumpers so much is maddening.

yeah, different from last game when it was Tatum and no one who'd played at the end of a game

respectfully disagree. calling a TO doesn’t cool off jt and we can set up for a solid look.
