Tatum & Brown 6 - 27 overall shooting.

That means your two best players - best tandem in the league supposedly are shooting 23% in one of your most important games of the season - at home no less.

Why are a lot of you saying "supposedly" the best duo?   I mean they are the best overall.  JB coming off an injury and JT has had difficulty with GS.  If they lose to GS tonight it doesn't somehow make them NOT the best duo in the league.

If they cannot perform their best in the most important games, the rest is just conversation. Empty stats.

I understand where you are coming from, but tonight isn't the playoffs, it isn't do or die.  I REALLY wish we would have played better tonight, because I hate these smug GS players...but Tatum and Brown are still the best duo in the NBA.

I must say the refs are REALLY letting GSW play hard...

I Was just saying to myself that if we just hit one 3 it could change the momentum of the game. Apparently Steve Kerr thought so also and called time out. We have some work to do and can’t afford any more mistakes but this game is not out of reach.

we somehow have to get back to sharing the ball, and moving our bodies on offense
way too much standing around no movement

I know - what happened to all that great movement from earlier in the season ?
Surely the coaches can see it in film sessions ??

Jaylen came back too soon.

Yeah, agreed.

Granted, I don't know if it's physically or mentally unprepared to play. Seems like he probably needed a different game to come back on. He's clearly not right.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
Embarrassing but expected.

Maybe they will be inspired to play a garbage Orlando that has owned them also.

Dudeeeeeeee. Can you please keep it to a ratio of - oh, I don't know - at least 1 positive post per every 5 negative, sky-is-falling post?  ;D

No. This is C's Strong.

Throwback to when a poster loudly and proudly declared that our season was over midway through game 2 in the 2nd round last year against Milwaukee... A game and series we ended up winning.

Don’t think brown is playing poorly because he is still hurt. He looks like a guy who has probably been sitting around resting the last week and is rusty and his timing is off

When the Celtics do something positive I will gladly give them credit. They don’t deserve it tonight.

May not be the playoffs but these guys should want it as bad as a playoff game given they've dropped 4 in a row to them. They should be playing angry, but instead I see marshmallows
Back to wanting Joe fired.

where’s al and why aren’t we pounding the ball into the paint, especially when the 3-ball isn’t falling?

Joe's refusal to admit Jaylen wasn't ready to play: Is he being stubborn or is he afraid of Brown/weak? Because it definitely isn't good coaching.
