Tatum has 21/12 so far. He's not the problem tonight

He's not taking over. We don't need a quiet 30 pt game, we need a loud 40.
Yeah, Tatum is not having a good game. He is still working hard and contributing in other ways than scoring but this is not a good game for him.

I mean, as much as they're loading up on him, how much can we really expect of him when the others - particularly his star other in JB - isn't pulling his weight?

Agree.  5-18 is not a good game no matter what the counting stats look like.  That's 28% from the field.

I know he's playing hard.  But he's not playing well.  We need him to adjust to their defense and hit some freaking shots.

Bad shooting like this, at home after two days rest, is pure choke because it is a big game.

Another bad foul by White.  He's been straight up atrocious today.

Would be nice if White contributed anything offensively.

Does Derrick White forget how to shoot threes vs  Golden State?
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Tatum & Brown 6 - 27 overall shooting.

That means your two best players - best tandem in the league supposedly are shooting 23% in one of your most important games of the season - at home no less.

Why are a lot of you saying "supposedly" the best duo?   I mean they are the best overall.  JB coming off an injury and JT has had difficulty with GS.  If they lose to GS tonight it doesn't somehow make them NOT the best duo in the league.

Have to say (if someone hasn't already said it), this looks like a total carbon copy of playoffs - hard doubling, relying on Marcus and Rob as secondary options.

Embarrassing but expected.

Maybe they will be inspired to play a garbage Orlando that has owned them also.

You can't be the best and continue to choke against a team like this

Back to wanting Joe fired.
